Why you need to be safe off the hill too

So i put this in non ski grabber but i wanted to make sure people are watching eachother's back off the hill as well because of what happened to me yesterday night:

So yesterday my friend travis and i had a great day of skiing alot with

all the other so cal bear mtn kids. But we decided to go night skiing

at summit. as we are walking back some guy on meth almost runs travis

over and as he spins out of the guy's way and his skis hit the guys

car. THe meth head slams on the breaks and gets out of the car and

starts hitting travis. I tell him to calm down, he walks up to me says

"what you gonna kick my ass or something" i step back say "no" and he

sucker punches me flat in the face. I had no idea what was going on

after that and i'm a big guy, 6'5 260 lbs. After the second punch i

dropped to the ground and he starts kicking me in the face, breaking my

nose and chipping my tooth. He finished by throwing my skis at my face,

for the first time this season i decided to wear my helmet and thats

exactly where it hit me. After getting out of my pool of blood and

filing a police report i went to the hospital where my nose didnt stop

bleeding for 6 hours and only to be told that i can't ski for a month

and as a result am going to miss travis' photoshoot tomorow.

Botton Line: Fuck that guy and all meth addicts, the cops found hit ten

minutes later, i'm going to sue his ass and then burn his house to the

ground. I wasnt even in this much pain when i broke my neck.

and hope you get a ton of money out of him, and buy a house in park city big enough that all of NS can come for the weekend.

yes the guys was really on meth but the guy was only about 4 inches shorter and 40 lbs lighter. Its pretty had to defend yourself against a guy who can't feel pain.
 
they can feel pain, you've clearly never fought a tweaker, for reals. you have to HURT them, not just knock em down, but hurt them, really.
 
Yeah i never have fought a tweaker. And everyone its pretty dam easy to analyze this and say i should have done this or that, i think about the constantly but when it comes down that i wasn't trying to get into a figt to begin with and then getting sucker punched like that shit happens and i can't change it.
 
he just told a story about him and his friend getting beat up by someone smaller than him... how is that a claim?
 
bummer would be way better if you were a minor. the jury would have totally been on yourside then. i hope you win. that guy must feel really good about him self. you didnt say what happened to your friend
 
Travis got a hit in the head a few times but was fine in the end or at least thats what he told everyone. I took most of the shots i was fine until my lack of mobility in ski boots + ice made me fall to the ground, the kicks broke my nose. The only thing that was gay was when he tried to help me some other people held him back cuz they didn't want him to get hurt. But with all the witnesses, the way the police were handeling it, and my best friend's dad being a kick ass lawyer (don't mean to sound like a snob) i'm not worried about winning. The police said it was assault with a deadly weapon.
 
sounds like you're a pussy who should have stood up for your friend Travis.

Maybe Take a self defense class or some rex kwan do!
 
honestly dude, i got my ass bate cuz of a sucker punch, read the other post i put for this thread. I did stand up for him thats why he only took a few punches. I'll reiterate its easy to read this and say this is what i should have done. Its been going through my head all day, i feel like shit for not doing anything but in the moment when it happened it came down to that pool of blood that i was laying in being kicked in the head.
 
I mean hey, you might get your ass kicked, or worse right, but if your man is getting worked, you gotta get on it. Dont let him back you down. Plus you said you were 6'3" 230 or whatever? and it took one punch to get you down? You better be saying the dood was 7 feet tall and had 4 guys with him. HOpe you can shred soon, but damn.
 
dude dont be a dick...he said he was coming to his friends defense, got punched a couple of times and fell down because he was in ski boots on ice...then the guy kicked the shit outa his face...kinda hard to get up and fight back when you're on the ground getting blindsided...

i hope you win your battle man...take that guy for a ride, and PROPS for standin tall..FUCk the haters
 
dont hate on him you would be pretty happy if you were his friend on the ground getting punched and someone with you stepped in(other than the fact that your friend got hurt worse than you). its easier to say what he should of done of what you would have done. people react differently in situations than others. i hope that all of you that said you wouldnt have let the hit you would have been there instead of him so you would haved saved your friend and beat the shit out of the druggy
 
Damn dude sorry to hear ur story and those kids shouldn't be talkin cause they weren't in the situation and when you get sucker punched to the face no matter big you are the only way that it would hurt less is if you were use to it. Some bum tried to fight me once and i can't beleive that u stood up to him in the first place those guys are super sketchy he could of been packin or something. U did the right thing man.
 
This reminds me of a time when me and my buddy were just crusing down the road on our longboards at night and this guy comes rippin out of a parking lot in a car and nearly hit me. His friend in the passenger seat stuck his head out the window and yells 'get the fuck out of the road' so of course i flip them off. They both get out of the car and start coming at us and as they're getting closer im trying to talk to the guy to calm him down but i realize that they are fucked up on something and they're not going to listen. I run back about 10 feet and turn around to see the other guy swinging at my friend. Luckily my friend is pretty quick and dodged all the punches but one of the dudes slams my friends board onto the ground chipping a piece off the tail so i start at him ready to smack him across the face with my board. He sees me coming and dodges my swing and before I know it im being hit by rocks that the other guy is throwing at us. Me and my friend got on our boards and get the fuck out luckily with no major injuries. Just a couple of bruises from the rocks. Looking back i wish i would have put one of those rocks through his windshield but oh well.

Anyway I understand what you mean. You never know when you're gonna come across a crazy mofo so you gotta watch your back.

it reminds of this time i was skating with a couple friends down to the store and we werein the break down lane when this care drives buy us in a town truck and this lady in the passenger seat starts screaming at us to get off the road. i put my hands up like "shut the fuck up" and my friends yelled gay shit like" no YOU get off hte road" well they turn around and start chasing us up the street. we get to the store and my other friends book it and hide and im standing on the deck. the guy pulls up rolls down the window and starts screaming at us "dont you EVER flip me off again!" and "I will call the cops and take your skateboards you little punk!" and stupid shit like that. well i yell back at him that i never flipped him off i just put my hands up and that he needs to calm the fuck down. then he gets out and gets really close to me and keeps screaming that i better watch myself. well i was like 5'9 and this guy was like 6'2 and fat and i was like "What you gonna beat up a 16 year old?!? want me to sue you and get you fired?"(he works at the town hall) and he just goes balistic gets back in his truck and just takes off like a bat out of hell...nobody got hurt but it was awesome haha..fuck haters..i guess this is a claim so CLAIM!?! ZOMG
 
Damn yo thats rough sorry about the nose.... but i feel like a tweaker won't have much money so it might not be worth suing his ass off

i don't know if this has already been said so don't flame me, but I can't imagine that suing this asshole is really going to get you anywhere. You can sue him for everything he owns, but 100% of nothing is still nothing. I'd do a little homework on this bastard and see what he's worth before you get too sue happy. It would really suck to have to pay a retainer for an attorney only to end up wasting you time fighting for something you're never going to get. Best bet is to take it as a lesson learned and move on.
 
in street fights the guy who throws the first punch almost always wins. Its not very honorable but if you want to win you havae to start attacking before he does

he ranby, and waws like... "what thefuck you lookin at boi?" and me gettin pissed, was like" those tits on you are huge...cant help it..." and then it went off and shit... lololololol
 
wow, I though ns was filled with 14 year olds with small dicks. Come to find out everyone on ns is super tough and could take anyone in a fight.

For real though, you guys are all criticizing him for not "backing his bro up" when he did the right thing by trying to not get into a fight and help his friend. Sucks that he sucker punched you though, there's not much you could have done if that guy was really that fucked up. Don't listen to these tools on ns
 
If some tweaker starts coming at you, you better realize that you either need to run (if you don't stand a chance) or stand up and try to subdue the motherfucker and then get the fuck out of there. If some tweaker starts approaching you in a confrontational way you need to realize its not going to end well and you need to take the appropriate actions one way or the other. I've watched enough episodes of Cops to learn a few things about meth heads.
