Why white people can't use the "N-Word"

you make a good point. to add to that: the N word may also be used as a term of endearment by black people to other black people, it's like they know that in the past blacks had to suffer through slavery and they are just now getting past racism (even though it still exists.. which is bullshit) whereas whites only used the term as derogatory in the past.
 
i hate how they say craker like its not a big deal but if we say nigga they get pissed and bring in racism and shit. There are a lot of ignorant white and black people at my school that do this. So i don't give a shit about race any more.

does the word cracker have a background with slavery? like if i was called a cracker i wouldn't care, because i don't view it as very derogatory or hurtful. the comparison between the n-word and cracker is so far off because one was used for generations to make a race feel inferior.
 
yeah when a white person uses the n word i immediatly judge them as racist or uneducated/wrongly educated. i know cool story...

If you say niggA, the black people don't care. If you say niggER, that's a different story. But I go to a school full of straight hood rats and they don't care, they like you if your not scared to say nigga

What is your stance on the term thats my boy?.. I use the word nigga from time to time, never in a negative sense. I have Plenty of black friends... I love black people just as much as white, brown and yellow people. But i say thats my boy all the time. It was a sharecroppers way of saying nigger without using the actual word. My thought is just do away with it nigga, nigger and everything else in that context. My friend big Chris says it empowering, but to me its just highlighting and exposing a dark time in this country that i love and care for! I wish that it could be just done way with all together. Thats my two cents... pardon the words that i used that i do not like.
