he did not went inverted... he was close too, but not enoyught to get disqualified.

In my opinion, to bew inverted, you have to get you head lower then you butt. Mike nick is doing uninverted rodeo but he kick ihis leg to the sky, so he his head under feet, but his head is at the same level as his butt.

im thinking that this is why he didnt add a mute grab to the dinner roll (cork 7)... it might have made it too conspicuous that he was inverted, and they would have DQ-ed him...

come on,it depends from were tha pic was taken, I already made a pic of me doing a straight 540 and it looked like I was super corked out... if you look at the thing behinf him, you'll see that his head is at the same level as his feet

dont know dude, were you satanding next to the jump, at the same heigt as he reached during his trick??? if not, you can really tell if he went inverted

Well, he didn't win anyway so I guess it doesn't matter. Still, if the judges were paying close attention (or if he wasn't Jonny Moseley) he would have been out, judging from that pic.

I don't see what the big deal is. He cleared the trick with FIS and they said he could throw it without being DQed. So it really isn't a big deal.

Steve, what ya doing recreating the whole nav bar?

anyway, His feet do go above his head, but I guess he doesen't really go inverted. The FIS's definition of inverted was feet over the head I think, but he compromised and made it so his head had to be above his waist or main torso. which he did do. I think this is a better rule, becuase as skiers get better the grabs will pull teh feet up...

I was There and i was by the judges kind of, from where we were you could not tell that his head went under his feet and neither could the judges, THEY DONT GET INSTANT REPLAY IN MOGULS.

 
yea the annoucer said he was inverted but the judges probably didnt catch it because it was so fast

The Dinner Roll 720 is not an inverted rick according to the FIS. If askier does the trick, even if he get sorta inverted that one time, the judges won't be able to notice. they'll see it as a not inverted trick and presume that the skier was not inverted.

it is the way the pic was taken.

it is taken from a diagonal view, if the pic was taken at the same height as johnny (or from the front or the back) you would notice that he isn't inverted. look at it this way, if the pic was taken on the other side at the same angle it would look like his head was above his legs (as much as his legs are above his head in that pic)...does that make any sense...it's camera angles. the pic was taken at about 45 degrees.
