Why this year?

I feel that this year i am more excited for skiing than i have ever been in my life, but i cant understand how i couldn't have been this excited last year. It feels like there is something different this year. Anyone else?
 
I was more stoked last year

just because last year the end of summer and beginning of fall were terrible for me so I was more stoked to ski. This year I'm livin it up AND I'm stoked to ski.
 
hpw many seasons have you been skiing?? just wondering before i am fully able to diagnose your addiction haha
 
same here last year i wasnt even really excited for skiing but i guess that was cuz i sucked and live in WI...but now im decent i guess and live in PC! so stoked for the 22nd
 
i totally know what you mean. i guess its because this year im following skiing religiously haha which is in return getting me stoked to go ski
 
i know exactly what you mean i think im so much more stoked for this year because i got a ns account at like the end of last season so its been like pumping me up ever since then
 
i'm pretty sure NS helps you get stoked. everyone on ns is stoked, so you get stoked, then because you're stoked other people get stoked and the circle continues
 
i'm sooo stoked for this season it's rediculous...being from ohio doesn't help either...all of this preseason jams are such a tease
 
Same here man, i was real stoked last year. It was my first year riding out west and i was always so stoked every day. Unfortunately i didn't have a car and was in engineering and only got 30 something days in. This year i got a forester, the rocky mountain pass along with 10 days to cb and the colorado pass, friends with places to crash in winter park, breck, vail, and gunnison, a new pair of donner parties, and i transferred into business and now have tuesday and thursday off. So its gonna be the most epic season ever!!!
 
i feel the same way. i think it's because you're going to be better than you were last year and you know youre going to progress more.
 
O yehh and i think im more stoked cuz i have 3 classes one day and then the other day i only have adventure PE which is skiiing haha so basically skiing 3 days out of the week at least and thats a HS schedule.
 
im more stoked than last year cause im living on my own and gunna ski as much as possible. even though i skied a ton last year.
