i think it would be badass/interesting to be able to look on the computer at the line you did for the day..i wouldnt mind a pair, but they are to expensive

because its fucking baller. you can tell the speed of a jump so much easier. the only thing is you cant really sag your goggles because its all at the bottom

yah these are dope, i saw a guy wearing them in mammoth, the goggles themselves dont look too ugly IMO

also heres an article that says you can check texts name of song and caller id on them so thats dopehttp://gizmodo.com/5726155/these-recon-goggles-run-android-turn-snowboarding-into-a-real+life-video-game

wait people sag their goggles now?

do people sag their underwear too? gotta have ass crack steeze when that tall tee flaps up in the wind while you flail down a groomer skiing from the park to the lift?

imagine a future where run-in speeds would be displayed on the side of jumps and you would just ski down, check your HUD, correct your speed and hit it perfectly everytime !
and also get your airtime displayed, traveled distance in the air, etc....
if it'd be a bit cheaper i'd buy one!i love stuff like that :D
ooh, or built in gps maps for freeriding :)and that combined with avvy reports would make for one hell of a freeriding tool ! :)

Im all for the innovation of technology and stuff but i also feel skiing is a bit about being independent of it. Just you, your skis, and the mountains. Not you, your skis, the mountains, and a tiny computer built into your goggles.

You could hit jumps perfect every time.

Knowing speed is just cool to know, see how fast you actually go. Bit expensive though and probably heavy.

my skis have jets on the back that appear when i hit a certain speed.

im not sure how i feel about head's intel system. that and volkl's power switch.

Actually got to try a pair of these on once, only got to try it inside so not everything worked but I must say that it works really well and the info doesnt get in your way but I dont see the point in getting them. Im guessing all the rich weekend skiers will buy them.

that would be sick to have for hitting big jumps. you could get the speed dialed really easily. they should make them look like I/Os it's not that far from what they already look like

that would be sick! it wouldnt be super accurate though. since the speed varies, i think youd have to have someone hit it like twice a day and mark down the speeds and then you just bring up a calculator and calculate what your speed would be based on your own weight. but people that were shitty at math might end up overshooting and dying.
