how can anyone of you hate the movies being produced?

i mean do you want to watch skiing or not, cuz they dont gotta make thm if you dont want. you get to see skiing no matter what and who cares about editing and shit. ITS SKIING and ITS NEW.

so all you haters of recently relesed movies, why dont you just not order another god damn movie and keep watching The Game for the rest of your life.

or maybe you can get off your lazy ass and try to get as good as the pros and make your own movies. cuz im sure noone wants to see all your shitty ass moves on the hill when they could rather be watching the pros.

no matter what the movie is... your getting something new and exciting. i mean if your looking for new tricks, it aint gonna happen, were all tricked out. only way to progress is bigger gaps and sicker jumps. oh and the way McConkey is headed with his parachute.

so why bitch and complain about something you dont even have to buy. sell ur copy or something just dont tell everyone the movies suck when really they are awesome NEW footage

Oh wait, everysingle movie is the shit! We should not criticize any of the movies and just go sucks their dicks for being gods of movies. No one is complaining about fucking riding you douche bag, if anything its about editing (Structure of the movie and etc...) and music, If I was the ones making movies I would hope people would come out and criticize the shit out of my movie so that I oculd come back next year and adress every single one of the issues and make a better movie...

^I don't think that he is talking about praising every flick made. There is a fine line between opinions or stylistic differences and just plain hating. People can have discussions about movies without bitching about them.

I dont know where to even start with you, movies are 10times better high? What are you a little fucking kid getting high for his first time and gets to go to the zoo or something? Seriously grow the fuck up, weed doesnt make stuff that cool, and dont tell me I dont know how to get high or dont smoke enough, cause thats not the issue... Edit movies ourslefs? What do we pay $20 for? I dont think anyone is going to completely trash the movie, but there are expectations to be filled by the ski companys to us, to produce a movie that most of us will enjoy, of course not everyone is going to like the movie but that doesnt mean we should keep our mouths shut about something we dint like just because its a ski movie and to you it seems like its your blow up doll or something... And if people totally hate on the movie, then fuck them and dont even waste your time on it, but constructive criticism is needed, without it we arent going to progress anywhere...

There are parts of movies that are to be criticized, if you cant take critisism then you are a fucking pussy. For example, X had some hella sick skiing but the music I thought was fucking horrible. I was also disapointed because I didn't think it lived up very well to Session 1242. Critism is good on every point of view as long as there is valid argument behind it

i fully agree with dlock on this one. who are we to judge and complain. sure you pay out $20 for a movie, so what else would you have spent it on? drugs, alcohol, girls, there isnt much else you can buy in this industry for $20. appriciate it for what it is instead of what its not

 
All you people saying that the companies need feedback are right, but there is a difference between constrcutive criticism and just being a straight up jackass. No one wants to hear shit like 'the movie fuckin sucked, no one buy it' you should give some legitimate reasons as to what can be improved upon. And as D-loc said, you don't have to buy the fuckin movie so stop sayign shit like 'I cant believe I wasted 30 fuckin dollars on it' when you could have just waited to see it somewhere before you bought it. Lastly, give the movies a fuckin chance. There are all these people coming on newschoolers probably 5 minutes after watching it for the first time and saying it blew ass. There are soem things you have to watch many times before you catch all the subtle points and grasp the concept or theme the editor and rider wanted to show you. So like the name of this thread, Stop All The Fuckin Hating and be happy we actually have developed enough as a sport to have a diverse selection of movies because without guys like Decesare and the skiers around back then it is pretty safe to say the sport wouldn't be at the level it is at now.

Yea all the people that bitch at the new ski movies are retarted. They dont have respect for the companies and dont want to even give them a chance. If you dont like the music turn down the tv and put your shitty music on. If you think you can edit the shit better than go do it yourself and make your own company or dont not bitch. It is 20 to help a company out and see some new shit that is going on in the industry!

Criticism is definately a good thing. Although it is really cool to hear ' Yeah your film is sick ' or it sucks to hear ' Your movie sucks' these types of comment don't help us much produce better films. Constructive criticism wether positive or negative is the way to go, it channels our efforts on what is to improve to make better productions. An opinion has also more weight if it is based on repeat viewing rather than on a first time viewing.
