Why the fuck is there a snowboarder on the front page?

because you touch yourself at night

the image is the top rated picture of the day and is not chosen by anyone but the users who rate the photos. dont like it, get involved and rate pictures.
 
old pics have been run since and i had a top rated pic during nike chosen that didnt go up
 
They don't pick it, it is an algorithm that has to do with views and ratings. Just cause you have the top rated picture doesn't mean you get on the front page (I was in a top rated picture for 3 days in a row and it never made the front page). Old pics are usually run if they're significant to current events (i.e. a skiers death). This system is also newish (since they revamped the pictures section a few months ago), before they were picked out by a staff member (and didn't change as often).

Snowboardings a pretty got topic here. Especially since you just started a thread about snowboarding on a mainly skiing forum. See what you ended up doing? Kind of ironic.
 
Cause its a sick shot? This isn't the 90s. There is no reason to hate each other based on what you ride and whether you stand parallel or perpendicular to the fall line
 
its whack. the point is not that i don't like snowboarders but to not have them on the cover of a ski community website. i come to NS to see skiing. not snowboarding. i skateboard to. if you would go to thrashers site and see a rollerblader there would be a up rising. fucking idoits.
 
Then I'm glad I'm not on thrashers site as they must be a bunch of morons. Getting upset over a sick pic that will be changed soon is pretty pathetic.
