Learn to surface fed a tube first

I've done it a few times already but only twice after like 4 months of trying and still havent been able to get it again so I've been trying kfed also.

try it late on a rail and keep the momentum from the swap to the blind 2. Doesn't look as clean imo but its a good starting point

I've been trying early and late I think I'm just stupid

Can you consistently front swap and unnatural blind 2? If you can do them both with proper scissoring you should be good

you definitely don't need to be able to unat blind 2 before you can kfed. Learn to front 4 first (or at least get used to gas pedaling and spinning off the end) then just throw it early on the rail.

I'm really good at front 270 but anyone can do a f 270

Just do the same thing you would do with a front 2 but pop a little harder and do it before you get to the end. if you commit to the spin the continuing 2 will just come around

Aight thanks imma try tomorrow

Makes it a lot easier if you don’t fully get on 90, and if you kinda cheat it and get on at like a 45 degree angle at first. Still legit as long as you don’t shuffle the landing.

I disagree, swapping is harder if your stance on the rail isn't solid.

i agree, you don't always need the components of a trick first, especially not this one. i almost never did unnat slides until spinning into one and realizing it wasn't a big deal

a solid stance means good pedaling. But if you’re waiting till the end to swap you might as well lock on to full 90. Early swaps it’s way easier to cheat it and either set up at 45, or if ur going for a backswap you over rotate when you get on and treat it like a 270 on in terms of upper body movement

It's 100% your footwork. Go watch footage of a Pro doin a KFED. Download the video so in AppleQuickTime you can go Frame by Frame. Study it. Memorize the Process. Then Experiment.

I get close my problem is committing to the b 270 I think

That toe dip in your foot work after the front swap will give you the grip you need to confidently bring that last 2 around.

The other option is to set such a hard and aggressive front swap that just bounce the last 270 around. No foot work required.

U trying to kfed cause if we cant see it we dunno what your fucking up
aight I'll get a video but I'm pretty sure its commitment and my foot work

I sucked ass at rails until i figured out how to scissor and pedal it just clicked one day on a big tube

I can scissor but by pedal do you mean push off the rail with a foot to go into a rotation

I am still really inconsistent with these. I usually set them too late and run out of rail to pedal the b2. They do get easier when you swap really fast.

yeah I have a problem with swapping fast but staying in good enough control to be able to try the b 2

Put a video in here of you trying to do it. It’s pretty hard to give tips without seeing what you’re doing wrong

don't be tense. nothing has to be forced if you do it right. focus on you're body moving as a unit

I can now kfed

get front swaps good. Then just front swap and keep looking. Most people when they start doing swaps do the swap too late so you can't get the back 2 as easy. Focus on swapping a bit early and the just keep looking.
