Why the front seat(shotgun) is just as good as the back: A short essay

as long as its not in the middle seat, the back aint that bad. but shotgun is more fun because you get to be the co-pilot

Whoever I'm with, the driver gets first light, so the shotgun rider gets passed to first, and what if there are three people in the car? Wouldn't the backseater be left out of the conversation between the driver and passenger?

Nah dude, shotgun is the way. You're not alone in the back, you have a driver to talk to, which is guaranteed. In the back, you might sit next to someone, but you might not... then you truly are flying solo. You also mighjt be sitting next to someone you dislike, while if you're sitting shottie, there's a pretty decent chance you're on good terms with the driver.

You also have control over music, etc., and in my experience shotgun packs, so you either get firsts or seconds. And your window rolls all the way down for cigarettes, throwing things at people, yelling at people, egging things, not to mention overall comfort. It's the way to go.
 
shotgun is definitely better unless its an suv, being 6 feet tall sitting behind someone who's 6'4 in a 2 door civic is not equivalent.
 
I liked your essay.

I found that it was well thought out and you had a lot of great things to say.

However, you are completely wrong. Shotgun is so by far superior.

Like mentioned above, the front seat has luxeries such as:

cupholder, sole posession of DJ responsibilities, heat control, window lock...etc.

Also, you must be under 16 or something, because, actually its the person who gets shafted with the backseat that ends up out of the conversation..the only way i could see otherwise would be if the person driving was a parent. But usually if there are three people the conversation is taking place in the front and the person in the back has to rest their chin on the front seat and try to get in on the conversation...also, looking at the back of the headrest sucks in comparrison to looking out the window at your destination, and last but not least...the seat reclines.
 
the front seat is much more comfortable, it has heated seats, reclines is not straight up and is more cushiony. the air flow is total bs this one time i busted ass in the front seat and no one even knew, did it in the back and i had dudes pummeling me in the back seat. last though, you got me there. if you have women with you in the car, back is always best for closeness and sex could ensue. so anyways idk why i typed this. FUCK.

There is quite a bit of speculation in there. You are assuming that the person in the back is 6 years old and will kick your seat. You assume the air circulation is better. This varies based on model and other factors.

For example, you get in the car after hitting up the skatepark. You are in a minivan. The person in shotgun gets to roll the window down and get a full blast of cool air. You are stuck in the back with those stupid minivan windows that open 1 inch.

And you usually can't control music from the back.
 
i never ride shotgun shotgun is for people who get wacked by the mafia sitting behind in the back seat. I always ride in the backseat. also i can have a shotgun in the backseat too so what now!
 
me and my friends dropped shotgun rules when we turned 18 because we realized we look like tools to anyone who can hear us yelling things like 'shotgun!" or "challenge!"

shotgun is cool unless its 2 people driving in which case sometimes I take the backseat so I can lay out. with 3 people you are left out of the conversation.

you also can;t properly ash a cigarette in the backseat. you also have no control over music as everyone has said, and a lot of times the front-seaters will roll their windows down cause they are hot, but it will be freezing for you.

but i let people take shotgun all the time, i dont care that much. they do the same for me, works out fine
 
Shotgun is better in some cars. For example my focus hatch. The back seat is very small and theyre is not leg room at all its def not a comftorably ride and my two 12's pound the shit out of ur ears if ur sittin in the back ppl are alwayz complaining about it
 
Well put sir. But i def prefer shotgun. Just being up front and being able to see everything and talking right to the driver and choosing music is a major plus.
 
I believe that shotgun can have the most fun, if the guy you shoved into the back seat kicks your seat, well just move your seat back and crush his legs then recline your seat and be done with him altogether.

Front passanger seat is so much better.

If you are in a car with heated seats, usually only the fronts are heated.

Control over music.

If there are 3 people in the car, the person in the rear gets left out of the coversation so much.

Increased legroom.

Armrest.

There's no competition. Front seat dominates the rear.
 
shotgun is way better in alot of ways mostly the opposite of everything in your essay plus riding shotgun is kind of like a privelage youll get seen more when driving around and thought better of. Opposed to sitting bitch and then you look like a bitch
 
front seat IS better

u can talk without music blaring, and u get to choose the music, def. the most feet space in smaller cars, cup holders, and more comfortable
 
that essay sucks dick. first of all, you obviously are not a full grown adult male or else you would understand that the front seat is about 10 thousand times more comfortable than the back PLUS you can see way more of the scenery AND you can control the music/temperature/etc. AND you most likely have better cup holders than the back seat. ANDNNDND if it's an SUV you are that much farther away from the stinky ski shit in the trunk. god you couldn't be more wrong, but I'd be happy to ride with you the back seat is alllll yours.
