Alcohol is socially acceptable, and it is soooo much worse for you. You can drink too much, it fucks up your stomach, it dehydrates you, there are so many variables to drinking. I am not against it in any way, I love getting drunk, I just don't do it too often and I dont drink until I black out for that very reason.
The only reason you may think weed is bad is because of the biased reports and advertisements. This is because weed is so commonly grown and distributed that the government cannot sell it and tax it, which is why it is illegal. If they can't make money off it, they don't want other people making money off it. They make up false facts to keep kids straying away from it so that they don't buy it.
It does not fuck up your life unless you are a major stoner, even then, it doesnt really fuck up your life, you are just tired all the time, and if you dont smoke for a few months, the brain restores itself and you are back to normal. There are no addictive chemicals. The only addiction is mental, weed is no more addicting than chocolate. I myself have all A's and a B in school, and I smoke weed regularly. I know tons of kids who are strait-A students who smoke even more than I do.
It is no worse than cigarettes or drinking, if anything its way better for you. I havent looked into this very much but there was a recent scientific study that showed weed actually reduces cancer cells. It it nothing like cigarettes, they are a bronchial dialater, so you will not be short of breath. IF helps me if I have a stomach or head ache or am feeling sick even.
dont knock it until you try it, when you do, you will realize that all the scare tactics you were told is total bullshit.
