Why smoke pot?

You have one of 2 problems. Either your not doing it right (try holding the smoke in your lungs for as long as you can) or sometimes the receptors in your brain aren't responsive the first few times

 
Yea give it a couple more tries it took me like 5 times to feel anything, just hold it in for like 7 or 8 seconds more than that just hurts your lungs. And it woudlnt cost you a days lift ticket to get high its way less then that

 
pot is mos def the next best thing in life other than skiing.. i love it.. i do it all the fucking time... and to the guy that said that he tried it and didn't feel anything the first couple of times.. maybe your just smoking bad weed... or your not inhaling and holding it in long enough... when i first started like the first 3 times i didn't get that high.. i was smoking out of a bowl. but then i tried a gravity bong and i was really stoned.. so maybe you should try smoking it a different way too.. like out of a bong they usually get you high faster....but it mostly just depends on your body...

yea it is expensive. If you bought an 1/8 of nugs around here every week that is like 10,000 if you did it every week all through high school. I spent 250 the first days i was out of school. I just got cuaght and im going to have to stop for a while till school starts up again and stuff which really suck but ill have a lot more money too.

where does all the white go when the snow melts?

i smoke pot sometimes because i am the worst person when it comes to stress. i cant handle stress at all. so whenever i get dumped or something of the sort, i'll smoke more weed just so i can heal quicker.

or if i've had a rough week, maybe i'll treat myself with a joint in bed on sunday night. something like that.

i love pot. it really takes the edge off.

i dont like to do it in groups of ppl or when im in public. i only smoke when im at home or with one or two other ppl maybe.
 
The people in here saying "fuck weed, its horrible, etc.." they probably never blazed one and just don't understand.. you cant understand being high until you do it.

 
i think that i smoke dope because of the social aspect...i have met so many people through smoking...some are great and some are not...but i think i like smoking weed because of the feeling and the friends...
 
Why do you ski? Why do you play sports? Why do you hang out with your friends? Why do you play videogames? Why do you drink? Because it's fun. Plain and simple.
 
I think pot is a waste of money that could be much better spent on other things, I don't think it makes you cooler, and it bugs me when people like to say they're not straight edge because they smoke pot, and i don't think there is a good reason to smoke pot
 
Uhh, I don't know what the hell "straight edge" people you're talking about, but all of the ones I know call themselves straight edge because they do not consume alcohol, drugs, or marijuana.
 
Yeah, probably the biggest thing is the social aspect... there was another thread about how pot smokers are a community, and it's true. It's a really fun, chill, relaxed group of people who smoke pot, and there's never any hostility. Even in the rare ocassion you meet someone you don't get along with, you can still spark a bud with them and have a good time.

i agree.

i dont smoke for social reasons. in fact, pot makes me ANTI social haha. i will just stare at nothing if im with a group of ppl. otherwise i have to smoke with one person or two ...ppl that i am very comfortable with.

my fav time to smoke is in bed before i sleep..put on a movie and relax after a long day.
