there were like 4 or 5 people in this thread who said it is 'pathetic' that we cant ski unless stoned or somthing like that, but i read the thread again and noone said anything about smoking while skiing, we are saying about how it should be legal

ok, so i didn't read the whole thread, or any of it at all....but my responce to the topic is 'what is your reason to not smoke pot?'......is it because people tell you its bad, are you really going to believe them, or would you rather see for yourself. i think opposed to coning you into toking...why don't you jsut try it when you're ready to?...it'd won't be that great fi you're pressured into it....not to mention, you mgiht not get high the first time, took me like 4 times.

mabie if you smoke like 10 times a day, every day, but otherwise not. alcahol and cigs will fuck you up a hell of a lot more. the key is moderation, and most pple dont have a problem with it because its not addictive

yea i dont smoke during the school week only weekends. I just haite it when people are like o it is soo bad for you and stuff without trying. and its not as bad as cigs. someone againts it make a list about what is so bad about it

sorry, i guess i don't care if you want to smoke. Some of my friends smoke, and they don't seem too screwed up, maybe it could be all right. People who chainsmoke cigs obviously have a lot of health problems, I bet that people who smoke weed 10+ times a day probably have some serious health consequences too. I don't know, it just seems that there are better things you can do. I still (even after asking my friends) don't see any compelling reasons to do it.

 
Good for you bro, it just means more chronic for me. I all seriousness, I have respect for people who don't smoke if they don't smoke for the right reasons. If someone has a legitimate reason not to smoke or if they just have the balls to say they don't want to then I have no problem. It's the people who have no idea what they are talking about and don't smoke because they saw the add on tv for how bad weed is that bother me.

The way I look at it is:

Weed isnt doing your body good. Im sure it does some sort of damage to your body. Look at someone who is really, really cheeched, they look so retarded, and just imagine what your brain is goign through. Oh well, its not stopping me because I only live once and I'm having fun doing what I'm doing.

Here's how it is.

The people that hack on other people for smoking weed have either a) never tried or b) are just immature and cannot accept that someone else enjoys something that they have heard or have even had poor experience with. If you don't like it and think it's bad by all means DO NOT DO IT!! But don't single someone else out or harp on em cuz they DO.

I blaze. I blaze because it's a bonding thing with friends. I blaze because it makes the school day go by faster. I blaze because it's what I do, it's part of me.

Smoking chronic has not killed a single person to date. Unlike alchohol which kills brain cells for it's buzz, marijuana's active ingredient, THC, makes a coating on your brain that causes singles to come in a little slower. This layer of THC goes away as soon as the high goes away. The only known health problem is that it causes small leasions on the throat which make it easier to get bronchitis. Also in younger people, under 18, or not done growing. It has been known to have longerterm loss of motivation but has never shown signs of the same problems in adults. So wait till your older.

Have you ever been so drunk that you puke and passout? Those are some sserious signs of rejection from your body. I've yet to puke or pass out from smoking pot. Gapping out, now thats different haha. Either way after puking from alchohol you feel sick for a week. After 8 hits from a bong you'll be mighty blazed but be fine in a couple hours, completely back to normal.

Do you think alchohol or weed is worse? I drink on the weekends, I've puked before, and I'm wondering if alchohol is worth it (to get my buzz). Beer and wine taste good, and I'll be drinking that till my dying day. But I'm thinking it might be better for my body if I got my buzz from weed. I don't know, it just doesn't seem right. Maybe it's because it's something new, but I'm still a little hesitant to try it.

 
Ok, I smoke pot. I like smoking pot. I hate people who diss people who smoke pot. I can see how people don't like smokin' up, 'cause for some people it's just not the right high for them, but lay off the people who do enjoy smoking pot.

I smoke pot because it helps me just relax and stop and think about what I'm doing in life, it makes for a good fun time hanging out with friends too.

everybody's saying that they hate people that don't smoke weed cuz of this or that, but u know what i hate? i hate it when somebody apparently 'hates' somebody because of something as stupid as either smoking or not smoking. just accept that everybody is going to have a different opinion, and try to create some sort of harmony. it's really not that hard. i've got friends that won't smoke, and i've got friends that will smoke constantly. do i value my friendship with one person more than the other? of course i do, but not because of a superficial thing like smoking a joint, i value it on the kind of person that they are. i think that's the way it should be.. anybody agree??

i used to smoke a bit... and i dunno i guess now its like... Id rather have my mind clear you know... there's other ways to open your mind, and i think its much more worth it if you can do it without the assistance of a substance... this doesnt mean i have anything against weed, its just i dont do it anymore

 
i just got stoned like a week ago. if you've never tried it, go try it out for sure before you act like you know what its like. I like it better than alcohol because it just makes you feel good, its kinda a feeling you cant from very many things.

alright so i have a friend, dad's a hgue pot head, he's a huge pot head. Once his dad finds out the kid is a pot head, he trys to do the parent thing....taking away pot, all that shit. then all of a sudden he realized the kids gonna do it weather the father take sit or not. So, with that in mind, the father walks up to the kid one day whent he kid got back from school. He layed a big phat nug on the table. The kid was obviously shocked and then the father said this to him. 'You finish all your homework tonight and I'll give you this to do with however you want.' So the kid did his homework. Now, two years down the road, the kid isn't living with his father anymore, he's with just his mother, an he smokes pot any chance he gets: off periods, lunch, afterschool, when he wakes up, any chance. Now, i bet you're thinking, 'oh what a burn out!' But, you're wrong, the kid has straight A's, yep he has a 4.0 and does all that shit. Now, who is the smart parent?

I don't smoke weed. I don't want to. I've tried it before and I didn't find the high that enjoyable. I find drinking booze much more fun to do at partys and with friends or whatever. I don't care if other people smoke up though... Like said before its basically a victimless crime.

everyone enjoys their own things......the only reason we support it so much is we believe it's a completely normal thing......the old grandpa's and grandma's have pertrayed our drug as being a horrible thing. i jsut iwsh everyone in our younger generations would try before the talk......that way they at least have some sort of knowledge about what it feels like. i hate how weed is illegal...it's really not that bad at all, as many have said, cigarettes are horrible! why are they allowed. cuz it helps the economy and they've built up a whole industry on getting people to smoke, then getting them to quit. it's horrible. weed wouldn't be like that.....it's not addictive...and if the government sold it, good god they'd make made money. urban skier so true i give up on going out to hang out with mor epeople and smoke. and for people that say it isnt a gateway drug and stuff i really do think it is and i am pro weed. 4 months ago you couldnt have made me elieve i would smoke everysingle day and try and get shrooms and stuff. so you need to keep it in check and not do stuff like that to much.
