This should trump the other thread I'm hopeing.

1)We started before Thanksgiving (again)

2)We are getting loads of snow now and conditions are prime for late November

3)Lot's of places to ride

4)Most of the people are super cool

5)One of the best mountains in North America is only 4 and half hours from seattle

6)Plenty of good herb to be smoked

7)Generally Ski until mid April or May or even longer

8)Mt Baker

9)So many more reasons I can't think of

Wait till the end of December to say anything, we still havent seen the real effects of El Nino, which should start pretty soon. But yeah, I'm loving this.

yea dont get too cocky man. We had a great opening last year, then got rain and freezing rain as warm rainy systems moved in through December.

It is fragile, but still very, very sick.

I don't think you guys get my thread. I want people to add to the list of why people love skiing in WASHINGTON. I shall not speak of prior seasons. It's a whole new winter.

washington is awesome cuz it gets DEEP in november

Is this right below Double Diamond chair at Stevens? Looks like the chute through the trees that starts right behind DD.

other edge of the woods.. far skiers left near the top. you gotta walk out a little bit at the bottom but its sick right now.

So what is the run off of PC, skiers left, that goes into the woods around the back and into the top of Julie's Chair?
