Why not Woodsy? or Tjader?

Since everybody seems to think the USA is the only country competing, lets look at some at the other compettitors for a change. I'm hoping Woodsy will take it. He is from a country without mountains and learned to ski on those weird brush like surfaces, but he has style for dayz and the skills to take it. And Tjader is a wizard with like, superman skills. Or jossi, who just won in Gstaad. Don't just look at the US, there is more going on

There is more nations competing, but the US is so stacked that it would be hard for them for beat out goepper or bobby.

Well since you want to hear something new, I've rounded up some cool UK facts for ya!

1 When a lady finds she has a passenger in her fanny, she may relieve herself wherever she pleases.

2 Dying is illegal in the house of parliaments! Wow! Better not let ol' Bishop in there! Ha!

3 Winston Churchill was born in a toilet during a ladies' dance!

There you go, my insatiable friend! Something new! Spread the folly!

I get far too pissed off when hearing it too.

Also England has mountains OP.

whoever mentioned Hatveit earlier, could not agree more.

im just waiting for tripples to be thrown in slopestyle. its gonna happen and its probably going to be from a small whipper snapper like tjader

Tjäder is an alternate, for some weird reason. Not a bad word about Antti Ollila, but why him and not the guy who came 2nd twice in the WC?

Jossi Wells or Russ Henshaw anyone from the southern hemisphere. Actually just anyone not from America, i would love to see the chaos that would be created if America didn't even make it onto the podium.

look at the american team, they pretty much have are guaranteed podium. 3 of the most robotic skiers out there.

only way is if they fall, have you ever seen gus kenworthy fall? yeah didnt think so..

He's another one of those guys like vinnie gagnier, except a little less wacky, but a lot of the shit he does just is so different from what everyone else is laying down it's hard to score. Plus he's not the most consistent, but when he puts down a full run he generally gets scored pretty well.

if everybody starts busting triples it's pretty much anyone's game. hopefully jossi can do a run with only zero spins like last year at euro x.

Im not saying that it will happen. Probability is that at least 1 gets on there but imagine how shocked everyone would be if none did. Just saying it would so awesome with a no american podium

As much as I hate to say it, Geopper and Wise are probably gonna win, but the olympics is a whole new game, anything can happen.

Especially with only 3 jumps in the slope comp its gonna be a lot closer because geopper may be the only guy who does all 4 dubs in a slope run, but there are a lot of guys who have at least 3.

I gotta admit, I'm on the Hatveit bandwagon. That guy is chill as fuck, is always having the most fun at comps, and hasnt missed a podium in like 8 years.

Most Aussies don't know a think about skiing but they fucking love sport. If Russ wins everyone in the country will know his name. He'll be a national hero. Don't think that will happen anywhere else

What are you talking about here? What is Tjäder an alternate to? Because when it comes to the olympics,(which is the subject in this thread) Tjäder is on Swedens roster in slopestyle. I don't know anything about Antti Ollila, but since he's finnish, he's not competing for the same nation as Tjäder.

Russ will be right up there. I would say Jesper but I think he's too acrobatic to claim a podium spot. Andreas will score pretty highly.

As above, if Russ wins there will be fucking riots in Australia. We won the gold medal in short track speed skating a few years back after the first 3 competitors fell on the final turn, giving the win to Steve Bradbury. There's now a saying in Australia: "To do a Bradbury".

Andreas is going to claim the slopestyle gold in true viking fashion. Except he'll be smiling and thanking people instead of pillaging and raping.

The people picking the team figure we'd be better off using the spots for athletes in other events that have a better chance at getting a medal. I think that's it anyways.

Just because he can land this run in practice means nothing about what he can do in a comp run… He wasn't scored well in this particular competition because he couldn't land his run clean

I went to scotland in may and skied. People are just hardos and complain because they dont have a 365 day a year glacier like hood or whistler

If Haviet is going to win he is gonna need to learn triples just like almost everyone else in the field. Once that first competitor lands the triple in there run, they will set the score to beat which will be high.

this is it, in case you don't know Canada has dominated the world cup mogul circuit with kingsbury and bilodeau consistently going 1 and 2 almost every event along with some other major contenders from Canada in moguls both men and women

on a side note I'm pretty sure woodsy learned how to ski in the alps like many english do, lots of weekend warriors from England going over to the alps

I'm siked to see Jesper's run if he can get out of the alternate spot, if you haven't seen his edits on his youtube channel check them out. He's next level for sure.

Well, lets just hope we won't get a repeat of the big air finals a couple of years ago, between PK Hunder and Simon Dumont... I mean, seriously, the only reason Simon won was because the crowd was american. May the judges at the 2014 X Games give all of the riders the points they deserve.

it's official henrik is gonna win https://www.newschoolers.com/watch/686243.0/Henrik-Harlaut-Right-Nosebutter-dub-1260

it's a good thing he spent all last year hitting shitty parks or else he'd be way too ahead of the game.
