just to clarify, i was talking about the ones like at the candide invatational. just watch the clips and you can see that by the time the skier is at the landing, they have dramatically slowed down, and if they were to come short, it would kind of be like an upward fall.

Yea well built steps-ups should be nice to hit,I have never tried one though because I have actually never seen one (except maybe a crappy one at St-Anne that was more a little kicker with a bump as a landing)
The problem is that it needs a SHITLOAD of snow and the EC doesn't get it.
Conclusion? : Fuck El-Nino.

step up give's me so much more confidence to try things because i'm not so high up in the air that if i miss up and land on my side im gonna die. I'm a big fan of step ups
