i just read two forum topics, and they were about the best segment in Happy Days, and Frontline... everyone was like oh yah, tanner, Jon, pep.. yadee yadee... and i mos def agree, dont get me wrong, those were quite sick... but i dont think one person said CR... i think he only got bashed... His segment in Happy Days was soooo fuckin good... The editing was by far the best of any other segment in the movie, and all his tricks were super smooth... the fuckin underflip at windells... 'perfection' my friends... and in the frontline, same shit, opening intro, good skiing, good mix of all kinds of skiing, everything was good.. and so it seems like a lot of people dont think hes too good anymore, just wonderin why... cause i think hes one of the best riders out there

i definately agree, CR has done a lot to bring newschool to the bigmountain stuff, like those stylie cork 3s off cliffs in frontline. i think he has one of the best styles out there---like the way he spins his corks, he keeps his arms really still and never lets them get caught up. he seems in control a lot.

His Bio spins are so sick. look at the bio 1260 opposite mute, in my opinion it was 'trick of the year'. Hopefully his parts in the coming films are as good as the ones in happy dayz and the frontline. CR RULES!!!

 
well that bio 12 in the usfo, was basically a bio 9 reverse mute, with a 360 attached. He also has gotten way too arrogant, or so a lotta ppl said.

The reason his section sucked in Happy Dayz is because of the song. Ice, Ice is possibly the worst song that has ever been used in a ski film.

Is he a good skier, yes. Did his music selection suck major balls, yes.

CR is good, certainly better than me. but there are pros out there that are more skilled. he lays out the sickest cork and bio spins, but thats all he really has been doing. he can ski all mtn like no ther, but idk like to see a bigger trick book.

yeah he deserves props, both were really good segments, and his trailer stuff so far is sweet, like the swithups on the kink rail in rfa, and i what looks like a big zero spin in the bc in foucus (i have trouble tellin with the quality)

i totally fucking agree i dont know about his part in sm3 but when i saw his part in happy days i nearly shat myself i watch his part to get pumped for skiing and shit those beats r just way off the hook and that editing was def one of the best ive seen in for ever

Bigger trick book? Umm, CR has a lot of stuff, and even unnatural stuff. CR has no say over the editing in SM3. If it was redundant... that's not his fault, and it says nothing about his skiing. The only thing I can really say is that I don't notice him doing much switch stuff, but that's a minor criticism. He's awesome, and he's been awesome for a while.

 
the song is awful and it is way overedited, when its al flashing, going back between shots and stuff.

cr had a good segment in happy dayz and he is a good skier but he needs some newer tricks the bio 9 is great but it gets old watching it over and over but he is a kick ass skier dont get me wrong on that ... and ice ice is a pimp song for the pimp skier like cr

 
i dont know, its seems like they only show three different tricks bios corks and underflips, does he have any switch shit, hes a good skier, but i dont think this movie parts are on the level of jon or tanner

I'm guessing that's the same footage as is in TB8 (my cous has that movie). I haven't seen the Realm, movies are difficult to come across in Australia.

 
Props for his skiing...but please god make him stop attempting to rap. Just cause you are a nasty skier and get in movies doesnt mean you have the right to subject us to having to listen to that crap when we want to see it. As soon as that segment comes on, my TV is muted.

yeah cr is not in the group ice. i think they are just his buddys. and everybody needs to stop judging him on his movie segments. they are just a small fraction of a fraction of what he can do. the film makers feel that what they put in their movies is what will look the best on the screen. a film segment does not reflect a skiers abilities to the fullest, remember that. a segments quality is also determined by the song whether you like it or not. watch his happy dayz segment and have the volume on, then watch it again muted. which 'looks' better? the muted one of course. too prove my point i noticed a lot of people said that in strike three their fav seg was critchtons (in a thread i read) why was it their fav seg? well juding by the 'top ten hip hop songs' thread im gonna hafta guess it had something to do with the song 'DL Incognito - Audio Coke' if the song is good it enhances the segment, if the song is bad it degrades the segment. SO STOP JUDGING SKIERS ON THEIR SEGMENTS! unless you ski with the guy/girl then you really have no right no seriously critisize them in a negative way. on second thought you should never critizise a skiers abilities negatively, or else we will end up like snowboarders. later.

CR is awseome the 50-50 in happy days was sweet, and he is good in the pipe. His backcountry is SM3 was nice as well. He's very well rounded, Better than tanner, cause tanner doesn't huck many cliffs in the movies I have seen. Really Johnson backs up what he said in the Freeskier, he wants to be all around.

 
i didnt bother to read other people's replies, but here's my take on it. in the frontline, the tricks were repeated. it got old. i have never watched his segment in happy dayz because the song is FUCKING HORRIBLE.

i thought his section in frontline was way better than in happy dayz. the level of riding was crazy in both, but i like the way msp captured it more. in happy dayz more of the shots were comp/ big shoots that are in everyones movie.

i know everyones gonna hate me for this but, i hate that song ice. its just really bad. the sectionw as edited well to it, but just to flashy, and yet again, i hate that song. the song is the main reaason i dont like his happy dayz seg.

his frontline seg had such a dope song and everything was so smooth. just so dope.

His segment in the front line was veeeery redundant, all i saw were lots of cork 7's and dspins....His segment in High Society was absouletly sick, he throws a bio 9 over a huge table in superpark and just stalls it out until the first 360...and the 3's he throws off the cliffs in SM3 were not corked at all.....

 
dont matter, like stu said his frontline segment was way better cuz it had shots that nobody else had. it was a really personel segment, it was like in your face originality. the bc stuff was just sick too. frontline had tons of footage that nobody else had now that i think about it.

he is one of those big hypocrites, i didnt comment on his skiing at all, because we all know he's good. This is a guy who says shit like, dont try and be something your not, when he is the biggest wigger of the ski community.
