it really isn't a big deal. 2 years isn't a big difference. If he is mature enough for you and you like each other enough go for it. Who really cares what high school fags think anyways.
On another note, i once went out with a girl 2 years older than me. Not because i'm a pimp, she wasn't all that great. But it wasn't a big deal. Kind of funny i hate her now, though.

my first girlfriend was the exact age as you when i was 15.
i could be wrong but i think he would have to be 14 for stautory rape to come into effect when she turns 18.
But ya it could be a little sketch ive got a chick friend who is 18 and going out with a 15 year old and although they are realy into each other and it has worked out for 8 months now it is still a little awkward becuase although he may be mature enough for you many of his friends won't be and so your two groups of friends won't be able to hang out together or share in simular things. Like you might be, "hey wana get a little drunk tonight" and his friends will still be like "NOOOO, lets stay at home and have a HALO PARTY". Also you have to put up with the good humored jokes like when she says that she is going out on a date with him we say "ohhhh you mean babysitting" but she knows that we are just joking around. Also im sorry to say it depends on how hot the two of you are its sad but its true. If you guys are both hot them you are prob higher up in the social "clique" and you are the leaders and not the followers so you will end up doing what you want no matter what ppl say and ppl wont give you that hard of a time for it.
Im sorry if anything that i said makes me seem like a dick but its just from my experiences that i have seen this happen. But good luck to you and w/e choice you make will be the right one
