Why New England Is The Best Region

how can you even compare the parks of the east to the west? haha

I'm from the midwest...so i'm greatful when its not raining..

why all the hate? every region has its pros and cons....

to quinny and the other kid you guys are just being ignorant towards each other
 
umm im from the east and some parks are ok but none are breck or keystone quality, they arent even close
 
of course skiing outside of the east and midwest is far better, but thats not all why NE is better. im sure half of you havent been to the east so you cant hate too much on what else makes it a great place to live and grow up
 
Quite a few asshole based comments in this thread. Claiming the "best" region is all in opinion, as well all look for different things within our surroundings. To say yours is the best is simply stuck-up, and to put others down in the process is sad.
 
OF COURSE I'm jealous. I would love nothing more than to shred the west coast with you bad asses. But the fact that I sit here and read others condescending attitudes about it sucks. I don't CHOOSE to be here, I am here for other reasons. And while some of the things that were said in here about the east coast are true, you don't need to put yourself on a pedestal because you are in the west. There is no reason to put down your fellow shred mates down, just because of typical stereotypes. Know what I'm sayin'? (I also realize it is the peak before season starts, and this is when the hate spews)

P.S. - Where I live is absolutely gorgeous, even without hufuckingmongous mountains that dump insane amounts of pow. I get THAT difference.
 
the westerners aren't on a pedestal. the only advantages to living out west are big mountains and no traffic. we have bigger and better cities and more shit to do.

but really i hate it here in northern indiana...... but still its better the new jersey....... and on that note do midwestern people, by which i mean ohio to iowa and kentucky to michigan and inbetween have bad accents as in nyc or southern people have???
 
I figured it out- The poster is jealous and pissed he's stuck on the East so now he's going to get other people who are in the same situation to agree with him and help him along with his rant so he feels better. That is the answer. haha, here's one for you. people moved out West because of the GOLD! If people liked the East they wouldn't have bothered migrating. 3,000 miles away in Cali and you're getting pwned.

The longest I waited on line all last year was for 40 minutes at snowbird... that was because and avalanche took out the unloading dock thing. Go West.
 
hahaha the pats and redsox aren't even champs and the celtics aren't really your team, with the exception of Pierce (who I have been a fan of since his senior year in high school) they are just a random group of players who happened to converge on the team that plays in your city, which by the way is the most boring city I have ever seen

in the midwest we may not have the biggest mountains or the best parks but i wouldnt want to live anywere else. I love the atmosphere here because for the most part we all get along. there is a reason that iowa/minnisota/wisconsin have the most posts in the regional forums and its because we all know eachother and respect eachother

and i guess we are now famous for being alcoholics too
