My woodshop teacher was awesome because he taught us well, gave us responsibilities. Let me build a 4 foot tall 1/4 in class, build some canoes and some other shit. Also taught some valuable life lessons.
I remember his speech about "the good enough attitude". Dude was the man. I still think about that when I'm slaving over something in the park, making sure it's fucking perfect.
He had a point. Why not do the best you can. If you're gonna do it, might as well do it right.
