Kerry has no real opinion on anything. Everything he says is based on polls and is a calculated move to inherit votes. I can't stand how people bag on Bush, who has dealt with incredibly hard circumstances and done so quite well, and they support Kerry's bitch ass, when all he does is criticize and dodge questions if he doesn't know exactly what stand to take to gain maximum popularity. Annoying

I don't understand why we can't just get a NORMAL PERSON to run for president. I think we just need a smart guy with COMMON SENCE and LOGIC and no absolute facination for BLOWING SHIT UP or finishing daddy's work. If the world hates us, then why do we still have support from Poland, Japan, Great Britian, and many other countries in Iraq. Okay so some of you are saying that it was bad to go to war after 9-11. The war in Afganistan was bad? The war in Iraq was bad? I really hope you are joking, because there is no way in hell there wouldn't have been another terrorist attack if we hadn't diabled terrorist training camps in Afganistan, gotten saddam, who supported terrorists, and gave them safe haven. The wars haven't united Muslims(shiites vs. sunnis) against the west, if fact most muslims aren't anti west, and they disagree with the fundamentalist Muslims. The wars have in fact, made our country safer, are preventing future terrorists attacks, and weakening the terrorists. Hard to believe, isn't it.

Aussies, you better join up, or else! How about Italy? 69% opposed. Japan? 70% opposed. Spain! only 13% of spaniards were in favour of war, and that was only if it had UN support! Turkey, 95% opposed. How about the U.K.? The steadfast ally of the US? Polls showed that only 9% of UK citizens were in favour of war if it meant the US and UK going it alone. Well put whoever you want on a list, you WERE in it alone to begin with, and as time goes by, support just keeps on dwindling. And for the last time, Saddam had no ties to Al Qaeda and Osama.

theres a lot of people who vehemently oppose bush, when you reach that point you assume (and right fully so in my opinion), that anyone is better than bush - hence the bumper stickers that read 'anybody but bush' or 'get w out.' hard circumstances?! the fucker is untouchable, he can do as much unconsitutional shit as he wants, he should have been at least under investiagtion for impeachment several times already. the job of the president (as well as any governmental official), is to represent their constituents - hence our representative government. its simply the number one objective. bush is in office and making his own decisions, he has his own agenda. he has no respect for his constituents, and thats enough for me to say that he should never have been in office in the first place.

A few things about Bush i find funny

1 In the first gulf war Bush I was critisized for not finishing th e job and not removing Sadam becuz he was doin awful things to his ppl. Now 10 yrs later we critize Bush II becuz he is goin after and SUccesfully removed Sadam and nothing has changed he still was doin things to his ppl yet ppl bitch like pussies.

2 He is literate and very intelligent, so what he has a southern accent its where is is from. MAybe he should apoloqize for the accent. In fact just to make you idiots happy all foreigners and should have to get rid of the accent. Or ppl from Boston or Chicago should they loose their accent

Bush created a war, and a conflict. He did this to have the country rally around him. Unfortunitly, something went incredibly wrong. People figured out you need a good reason to go to war, and the country (and entire region) that we invaded is pissed and angered, and with a good reason. I cannot listen to you conservative people who blurt out all the same things. Where do you get the idea that the entire country of Iraq and surrounding region hates us and is pissed because we took out saddam. Do you not remember the masses of people in the city streets pulling down his statue. they f-ing hated his guts. he was a tyrant, who starved his country of any resource by collecting huge fortunes and then went of and treated his people like absolute shit, and killed MILLIONS. Think about how many people a million is. Now imagine I just walk up and killed your mom. That's only one. Multiply by 10, and 10 again, and on and on. The huge majority of those in Iraq are extremely happy he's gone. Unfortunately, the mass media hardly brings this fact to the forefront, mostly because of the same reason a certain democratic nominee won't take a real stand on any issue, they and he will both do whatever it takes to help themselves.

You may or may not realize this, but as that was happening, there were ten times as many Iraqis engaged in fighting U.S. troops only 3 blocks away... most of which were civilians or militia in civilian garb. At the same time, american soldiers and iraqis alike were looting museums of priceless artifiacts, since lost or sold on the black market. It wasn't a glorious day or a perfect US victory. You only saw what was broadcast.

Bush made one MAJOR screw-up. The American goverment knows that it's not in Iraq or in Afghanistan that the terrorists come from, oh no, they KNOW its from Saudi Arabia. But attacking Saudi Arabia would paralyse the oil economy (I imagine), and you can't do that.

So they decided to attack countries nearly identical for the common citizens (not the more informed like some of you are on this site), Afhanistan, because it has no economical power and the Talibans could be considered as harbouring terrorists, and Iraq, because of the embargo, it wouldn't paralyse the oil economy.

I guess those were just two major warnings to Saudi Arabia and a pretext to remove Saddam who was becoming an annoyance (and have a humanitary dimension: liberate the Iraqis and protect America), as for Afghanistan, I don't really know why they chose to attack them first.

in any case it would have been impossible for bush to not handle 9/11 well. i don't think he did a better job of handling that than any other president supplied witht the power of an army of speech writers would have had. its a cop out to legitmize his presidency by listing his actions following 9/11. besides if you're going to bring up 9/11 then you have to acknowledge all the things hes done in relation to that. we still haven't found osama and his attempt to fight terrorism by attacking iraq didn't produce any weapons of mass destruction and thus he is an abomination of presidential power. not to mention there is an entire investigation going on that suggests that bushs cabinet had forsight of a major terrorist attack - specifically 9/11. i'm still waiting for someone to accurately and effectively defend is presidency. the problem is that no one has anything to say that isn't blatantly skewed/distorted by blind patriotism - which is exactly why democrats believe republicans to be such blithering morons.
