Jay Peak is fucking crazy for the powder and the woods, but the park just sucks. Ok some big rails, but the pipe is shitty and the jumps are all small.

i wanna head up there sometime for one of those big powder storms, i was supposed to go after that 50 incher a few years ago but couldnt get a ride, those rails look dope though

I went to Jay Peak twice this year, and the jumps are way smaller than the jump on the first pic. Maybe it was like that on the first week but looks like they didn't take care of it.

The pipe looks good on the pics too but when I went there it was so ugly like it haven't been groom for months.

 
i heard it's nice up there a friend i know went, i guess it was alright, but he did go like late late season so i donno, pics look sick to me definatly better than shit at my local resort

jay averages something like 350 inches of pow a year which is more than most mountains out west, but it is not the best for park skiing

yeah, the park isnt to good, but it can have some alright days. the rails are sick, and the pipe/jumps USUALLY blow. but can be alright. i go to jay ofr the woods so i dotn care either way.

jay sucks. the s rail is cool, and they have some nice woods, but other than that fuck it.

as a kid i used to like to like riding in the car with my head out the window. i would do it all the time. until one day a car was coming. my head hit a dogs head, and my head knocked the dogs head off. now i dont lean out the window anymore.
 
uhhhh if your canadian it is, because its only minutes form the border, its owned by a bunch of other canadian ski resorts, and the prices are the same in american or canadian i believe.

and i dont care if some of you park rats say the park isnt good because a jump is 'only 40 feet long', or a rail is set up crooked. well if you hate the park so much, ski the rest of the mountain. i'd go to jay just to ski their pow! stop being so one minded and realize that there is more to a mountain than a couple of handrails and a stunt ditch.

That park doesn't look to bad... But for those of you that went to st-sau. you'll know that before last year they didn't take care of their park and seen as they Own Jay Peak.. I suspect they don't take care of their park. .Anyway Axis Boardshop took over the maintenance of the park last year and made a super awesome park last year.. they groomed it twice a day on the weekends.. and they plan to Make it Better next year.. I suggest you check it out..
