Why isn't Salomon cool anymore?

What I was trying to say is not knowing the difference between amer and atomic is a pretty big detail to have got wrong. You were also pretty far off with you dates about the Adidas buy out.

Which shop do you manage. I presume it's a park shop is it? I surprised you don't at least sell the bindings or boots. Your missing out man. Especially with the new max shell that range of boots is awsome. But each to there own I guess.

dude really? i wasnt off. my facts were on point, only thing i was off about were the dates, which i even said i was off about. the fact that i said atomic instead of amer is in no way shape or form a big detail to be off about. youre just nitpicking to nitpick. if i woulda said amer, none of you would have known what i was talking about.

and no, we are definitely not missing out! our business has in no way been effected by not having salomon. even with the amount of gear we mount that comes in from online, we still dont even see salomon coming in. i maybe mount a pair a year, and thats skis. i couldnt even tell you the last time someone came in with salomon bindings to get mounted. easily over 4 years ago. you have to know whats hot in order to run a successful business, and salomon is far from hot. brands like rossi, nordica, line, etc are destroying them. and no, we are not just a park shop. freestyle maybe makes up 20%-30% of our hardgoods inventory for skiing.

Ok mate im not trying to argue with you. I was just asking where you work. Obviously you must see sth bindings and spk boots in fairly often though. Sth bindings are some of the most desired along with fks. But obviously where your from people don't ride them.

An regarding amer and atomic no some of the kids here would not know the difference but I can assure you any one else like me who works or worked in the industry would have had a chuckle at your mistakes. Any way enjoy your selling on here

I like some of Salomon's products, I really dislike others. But this thread is about "being cool" which has nothing to do with product spec or quality. If Salomon isn't "cool" any more then it's because they simply don't want to appeal to the NS crowd any more. Either that or their marketing department isn't doing a very good job.
