Why is skiing better than snowboarding?

wrong forum mang.... But really it isn't there both cool for their own reasons. Be cool and write a persuasive essay on why ther are both sick, or better than sitting at home watching tv baked out of your mind.

we have to worry about smacking our balls on rails (were not pussys)

skiers get to go down the hill backwards (switch)

shit load more grabs with new ones popping up all the time

yeah, there really isn't a fundamental argument for either one being better than the other.

the only reason skiing is better than snowboarding is because you can move better over flat areas.

The only thing I can think of is that there aren't a million little clowns skiing, where in snowboarding that's what has happened. Believe, when your job is to sit and answer gear questions all day online it's hard not to hate beginner snowboarders. I honestly chat with 30 kids a day who say "I'm an expert snowboarder.... what size board do I need?"

Then they just go on to ask ridiculous questions that eventually end up with "Will this all match?"

Snowboaders suckk because...1) If you dont know how to use the terrain park, than DON'T. Wait your fucking turn, dont just go. 2)If you fall don't sit in front of the landing, move nobody cares how close you got. 3)Dont over-exxagerate, if you land something, good for you, no one cares. 4)Snowboarding is not "your life", so get over it. 5)If you buy the clothes and equipment, dont think your a hard ass. You wont get any respect unless your good. 5) Your all pussies when it comes to rails, dont think your good because you can 50/50 something. Try doing a rail on skis, then come talk to me.

hahaa, mark is exactly right. But it is the way nub snowboarders that are lame. they buy a board, which automatically gives them that "Skiers are oldschool. I own the mountain now." At Brighton all the good snowboarders are cool with skiers.........all the clowns that suck are stuck with the 80's mentality of skiers.
