Why is NS so addicting?

i bet you i'd be doing a lot better in school if i never found out about this site!!!

why must NS be so addicting?

tell me please
 
i think its because there are SOOO many members online, it is a community which you have become a part of, its about skiing, and theres NSG which is a great time killer and discussion area about nothing. and its a well laid-out site.
 
I've fucked myself over procrastinating on this site sooo much. Actually, I am currently doing so. Quite fun!
 
I liken it to why Mos Eisely Spaceport is so cool. In the words of Obi-Wan: "You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy."
 
s actually become less addicting that it used to be for me. maybe because it just got old and people were being dicks but i still have that special corner in my heart for it.

 
I've been asking myself the same question

Since I've found NS, school's been tossed over my shoulder.
 
Its addicting because its easy to access, has something to do w/ skiing and it has other people who do the same thing you do. 1+1+1=ADDICTION
 
All forums are addicting like this, but it's so much worse when it's a site about the greatest thing ever.
 
They send out cocaine like addictives through the screen via color radiation from the site. Pretty cool actually.
 
im in school right now too.. its cause theres always an entertaining thread. and usually some n00b to make fun of.
 
i dont find NS addicting at all... seriously ive never understood why people spend so much time on it. i get on it every now an then
 
I know this thread is kind of dead at this point, but my friend stated exactly why NS is so addicting perfectly today and I figured I'd throw it in...

NS isn't like other forums where it's like "Hey! You like puppies/trains/american idol/blowjobs? Let's talk about it online when we're really bored!" Skiing is the life and soul of pretty much every person on this site, and the coolest people are always skiers.
 
because skiing is the sport of kings! basically it's the best sport ever, in history.

during the summer (june-september or october) I don't pay much attention to skiing so I stay off NS more, and instead I go biking all day. but in the winter, I can't stop watching ski videos and talking about skiing.
 
me too, myspace and facebook are, but NS isn't, so when we are supposed to be working on reports or something i'm just on NS.
 
im so glad my school hasnt blocked it yet..today facebook just got banned so if they take away ns too ill die
