sorry i have never owned jiberish and I am unfamiliar with the features and quality i meen why pay 80$ for a tall hoodie when i can get one for 40$? and i know that the designs are as dope as they get but still unless there is some super feature or quality texture or somthing i might just get something cheeper.

so please help with my problem and give me all the bads and goods to jiberish why does it cost up to 100$ for a sweatshirt?

Well there's a lot of reasons for Jiberish being expensive. One main reason is they produce their clothing in limited qualities, so there's only so many and once the season line is bought out that's it. Another good reason is the quality. All of their hoodies hold up great in the cold and the materials they're made out of are so soft and comfy. Nobody is asking you to buy it if you don't want to though. If its too expensive for you, just buy one of the $40 tall hoodies you were talking about.

Good, then go buy a $40 hoodie. More shit for me then.
Why does a Brioni suit start at $5k and a men's warehouse one $100? Why do Kiton dress shirts cost $600 when you can get a Perry Ellis for $15? You pay for construction, style, and brand. Jiberish's stuff is made in small quantities, it is cut-and-sew construction, and they have a lot of detail on their shit. I have tried to get some clothes made a few years ago and sweatshirts were like $50 each to make. I am sure theirs cost less than that, but still it is pricey to make stuff like that. Then you have to sell the clothing to a store and then they have to mark it up.
Spending that kind of money sucks, but I doubt that they do it to try and fuck people over.

a couple of reasons1. High Quality - very warm, very well put together, and very durable2. 1 or a kind graphics - no one else out there is making those kinds of hoodies3. Name brand - there are products out their that sell for ridiculous prices just because of the brand, this isn't even that bad.4. (and this is probably the biggest reason) Supply and Demand - since they are such a high demand item, they HAVE to be high in cost or else they would sell in minutes.

well I wouldnt go as far as to compare jiberish to brioni

but yeah, its the whole cut and sew and limited quantities that make it expensive. cut and sew can be ridiculously spendy, i looked into it but people wanted alot of money

Haha, I never did. If you read what I wrote, I was just saying that there are differences in garment prices for a number of reasons. The Brioni comparison is to show how wide of a range clothing prices can be. And obviously shit gets even crazier than that.

Every single piece is a custom hoodie.

you do get what you pay for though. very high quality, good fit, and it just LOOKS so good.

really your paying for design and a tall fit. i have an MFG black in xl and when got it i was disappointed in the quality.

Why do people say they're durable when I see Jibberish cracking and balling up all the time???? I see threads complaining about Jiberish a lot. Durable? My track pullover has held up for years and is still like new, AFTER DRYING A MILLION TIMES!

Sure, Jiberish looks good, but durable? Let's not get too carried away guys.

it's made from expensive materials and everything, it's not practical at all but it's good quality, as far as hoodies go, it's the best quality, as far as true outerwear quality goes, all hoodies are very low on the list

Jiberish definitely is not 100% durable. It wears out just like any other slothes. My hoodie from them has been washed a ton is fadding a bit and threads are coming undone

^^^ +k for being realistic man! Real un-biased opinion right there, grade A stuff.

Jiberish does still look good though... I'd probably pay for one if I could friggin find one! haha

I dunno, its just fancy shit. It's not like I can afford it though. There are too many cheaper substitutes, especially when I know I'm going to be wearing my clothes skiing, falling on rails, mud, and shit.

Even digital artists for textile applicable prints have sallaries, their office isn't for free, neither is the web manager or anyone involved, shit costs, it's a sick brand and if you don't want to pay for it... who cares? As a previous poster said, more shit for us :)

Its expensive because idiots on here will pay that much for it. That, and they cant afford to do a huge run, so they sell a few a overpriced hoodies, and they have made their money back.

IMO, it has to do with popularity, and offer & demand.I mean, they want people like us to look at the pros rocking Jiberish and looking ultra steezy, making us want to BUY stuff like that. Also, if they make limited quantities per year, and a lot of people want it, they will boost the price up since they have a large demand but limited offer. So FOR EXAMPLE(Not for real), Jiberish is selling 1 single hoodie for 40$ and there are 5 kids that want it. Obviously there will be competition between the 5 kids and someone will offer a higher price than the others to get it, so he pays 60$ lets say. They must take this into consideration and adjust their prices accordingly.
And there you go for your Economics lesson on Today :)

It is very apparent that they are barely scraping by. The biggest red flag is the fact that their manufacturing dates are soooo late. If they were a company with their shit in line, their lookbooks and productions dates would have been last year, for this year. This is how the garment industry works. They pay these factories the least money, so basically they are at the bottom of the totem pole. The same goes for LD. This is the reason it got pushed back so late last year.
