Why is Henrik not pro?

in armadas 13/14 catalogue harlaut is still under am, even though he wins so many awards including that insane nose butter triple that got him the gold at xgames. This might be a bad question but if someone could explain to me how this works, that would be much appreciated.

Usually the Pro team for Armada is the people that helped create the structure/founded the company.

Also Henrik hasn't been on armada for that long, so might need to be on the Am team for a couple years first

Ye I been wondering the same thing, guess it comes down to what armada can afford, either way el dentate or whatever dollos skis are next seasons will be sold out so fast so maybe it's just a marketin plan

im pretty sure its because he's new to the company. thall and jp helped found the company, and jacob and phil have been with it since near the beginning. if you can remember the old pro team a few years ago, it still had guys like boronowski and julien on it, who also were with them since the beginning/helped found it.

between the am and pro team i dont really think there is too much of a difference between salaries/benefits/etc. i think its more who has given more to the company

it just takes a while... Phil used to be on AM team... I mean henrik already has things that the pro riders don't... pro model skis/clothes... so it really doesn't matter i dont think. They have to be paying him good money.

Damn! I really hope that $999.99 is in NZ dollars and that the US dollar is a bit more powerful! A thousand dollars is a bit much for a pair of skis for me haha

unfourtanetly he didnt qualify. armada draws sticks to decide who will be pro everyear. just didnt get the luck of the draw i quess?

Most likely because he is still on his original contract with Armada and has not negotiated a new one. Also probably based on the amount he is/is not paid by the company.

Skis over here are expensive but that is on the high side for even overhere. Many people (like me) buy from USA shipping is a few hundred but it still works out cheap than at the store

I've wondered this as well, but I think everyone is right about the length of time on the team thing. But considering he has his own promodel ski now I'm sure he'll get bumped up whenever they update the website for next season.

What someone should do is Create a form letter stating that 'We the people of Newschoolers feel that Henrik Harlaut should be moved up to the pro team. "

Then, each of you send a copy to their offices. Its a simple stamp, and I'd bet anything that if a ton of you did this they'd have to respond to it.

For the kids of ns (including me), sure. For dollos own career as a proffessional skier, .. No, ehat the fuck is th matter with you

Maybe armada realized they needed to take shit seriously for this upcomming winter. You can't win gold medals finding tranny and doing tailpresses. Get fucking real, henrik.

not surprised, based on how they run their team. hornbeck kills it, but he doesnt compete, hasnt been with them for a long time, and doesnt do anything too special besides put out good segments/edits. if henrik isnt even on the pro team, there is no reason that hornbeck should be

haha henrik is one of the most "Pro" skiers in the world right now, a title on a website doesnt really mean anything.

It's just how Armada does things, there AM's would be considered pro riding for any other company. It just takes a few years for them to move up.

Torin and Hornbeck are still on their AM team..It doesn't really matter, to be on Armada's pro team you have to be on their team for a long ass time.

Casabon has riden for Armada for 9 years - Henrik for 1

Its not in us dollars. Look at the bottom of the page, arvs are at the same price, so I guess they'll be the same price as the arvs being sold in the us this year.

cuz the catalogue for next year was made last summer. before this winter ever happened. im sure his pro model ski is speaks for how armada feels about henrik.

it's just a silly little thing armada does so people ask/talk about it like you are now. "man armada is so hard, they dont even consider henrik a pro"

not hating, they seem like a cool company, it's just a meaningless little thing they do.. im pretty sure it's happened a couple times before
