Why is Gucci Mane successful?

Is it because no one can understand what he says, so no one can say what he raps about is stupid?

Because people pay for his music. Who is willing to endorse the art (if you wanna call it that) that you're putting out? He obviously has sonething that people like.

Its mostly because of his music group brick squad, which includes wake flocka, oj da juice man, frenchie, and wooh da kid he is famous for the same reason that bird man is famous.

I think he's a good musician. If you listen closely, his beats and lyrics are actually pretty complex and well coordinated.
 
Gucci isn't selling his lyrics he's selling himself and the trap. He's a good businessman and has people surrounding him who helped him become and continue to help him be successful. He's made multiple key connections with producers and other rappers who allow him to continue to make the large amounts of music and money that he's been making recently. Anyone who is as big as Gucci has to be at least somewhat intelligent to get where they are.
 
Haha in that video of crips going off on Flocka, that was Slick Pulla's cousin. Slick is the Jeezy associate that knocked the fuck out of Flocka a few years ago.
