shut the fuck up jaross, how could you not have sympathy for the soldiers. a lot of them probably signed up way before this whole thing began because they wanted to serve their country, it isnt their fault they ended up in this bullshit war. some people just have a calling to do more with their life than sit on newschoolers.com and pretend to talk about politics, but unfortunately many of them are dying in this worthless war.

well here's my 2.5 cents. Picture this: You and your dad are dropping off your friend Chris at his house after he spent the night at your place. You, Chris, and your dad pile into the chev. Cavalier and drive to Chris's and drop him off. then your dad is going to stop by his office to pick up some papers and then get you a can of soda and some groceries. After going through multiple check points and having people yell at you in another language and search your car, you drive downtown towards your dad's office. Through a few more checkpoints with people in uniforms seraching your car and talking in another language. You pass by your old girlfriend's house but there is nothing left but bombed out rubble from when some of your friends tried to defend it against more people in uniforms speaking anothyer language. All of a sudden a bunch of your people appear from a building and start shooting at the men in the uniforms speaking another language. the mmen in the uniforms procure some insanely large weapons and fire at your fellow citizens. Stray rockets fly over and hit your Chev. Calvalier, throwing it into the air. You feel your face and legs cut with glass and burned. After the car falls to the ground, you see the remains of your dad a few feet away, badly burned and maimed. Men in uniforms yelling another language run up to you and thrust guns into your face and roughly drag you from the car and take you to a hospital far away from your house. Welcome to Baghdad, go find an account of what really happens there and how many Iraqi civilians have been killed by American forces. this is a simple metaphor for what it would be like if the US was in Iraq's position.

1)-So the militians from Al-Sadr aren't irakis trying to 'defend'their country?It's Al-qAEda for the most part eh?Can you prove me that?It is well known that Al-Qaeda is in irak,but it is not known if there are actually talibans fighting with the militants of Al-Sadr.

2)-Of course you are not,but shit happens,and in Irak,shit happens more often than in other places.People,(civilians)are indeed getting killed by Coalition troops,remember last years Palestine Hotel accident,in whioch a U.S tank bombed the hotel where journalist were living at.Killed Jose Couso,spanish cameraman.

3)I believe at least there was some kind of stability when Saddam Hussein was in power.He had to be removed,quite obviously,because he was another dictator disturbing world peace.BUT now,what can Irakis believe and trust in?Shiites killing suniis and vice-versa.Before,there was a relative sense of calm and 'prosperity'in Irak.Now there's none of these.Only insecurity,danger,corruption,and occupation.

I don't know,maybe I am wrong,but Irak seems a little bit worse now than before.
