Why is Blue's park closed?



You've just answered your own question.

50cm of new snow overnight. It could be a park rebuild, and their probably isn't enough speed in the park anyway, which might make things dangerous.

Either way, you shouldn't be looking to ski park with 50cm of fresh
 
hit up some of that east coast pow instead. Theres the marked glades and if you know where to look there is even more which are almost never skied
 
Its blue mountain, its packed every day, so there is no powder left, just big humps

But a groomer in the park would cut that godamn waiting time. The park crews are able to clear off the hits in under an hour. When big park get it with 50cm, they dont shut down the park, they fix it and advertise it.

 
With 50cm of fresh, even if it's packed, I'm sure you can find some good pow somewhere.
