Why is Bigwhite & Silver Star closing with a 2.5 meter snowbase?

The Kicking Horse website says that they're closing on SUNDAY too. They have a redic. amount of snow too. 2.5m at MIDSTATION, and way more up top.

I hope they don't shut 'er down, cuz I know I'll still keep going. 1 day left on the snowmax card as well.

the day i went to bigwhite they had a slopestyle comp, it was sooo sweet, you get a team of 4 people then get a shop to rep and then the winners get free stuff

well most people move go into summer mode once easter comes. Some of the best skiing is yet to come though

that sucks man. Mabey theres lots of snow, but the snow quality is low. If its all ice then they might want to shut it down. Ushually they will try to stick to their closing date that they set

I was up there like a few days till closing and it was grossly slushy and warm but the park was so good that day
