Why is aspen called ajax?

my mother got an email from her friend who called a mountain ajax in colorado and i was like wtf ive never heard of it, looked it up and apparently its aspen but why the name?
 
Ajax is one of the mountains in the Aspen Mountain resort. There is also Apsen Mountain, Snowmass and one more. Much like Mary Jane is a mountain within the Winter Park Resort.
 
oh hahah wow im retarded i knew that for some reason i was thinking they were calling the whole resort ajax or some shit +k though
