and the same thing happend to my ipod but it went away as soon as it was done uploading songs. so if your adding a bunch of songs that might be why

No Theo, I'm not uploading song, its been like that since I got it back from warrenty and I put my first bunch of songs on it. I don't know what it is. And I don't want to have to restore my iPod becasue A good amount of my music is from other people's computers.
