do animals eat each others poop and/or puke??!
I witnessed my sister's dog eat cat poo from the litter box today and I just didn't understand. Its so funny, yet so disgusting.

Dogs will often eat other's poop because they are lacking in nutrition, cat food is also very high in protein which is like dogs favorite thing! Esecinally the food they eat makes the dog think its delicious. Also for the smell of it, dogs are rooted back to being wild and to blend in with their surroundings they will roll in stinky stuff to not be detected by prey or bigger preditors
 
Possums eat their own poop because their digestive system sucks a fat one. It can take up to seven trips through its system to digest it fully i.e. possums can eat their poo seven times before having to go find actual food. I don't know about dogs though so this post is pretty irrelevent
 
Food is food no matter what if it is in turd or vomit form. I mean, come on. Who would resist a digested slab of animal meat

my dog ate poop once this winter and these were the reasons why

1. they actually like the taste

2. they get bored in the snow of not being able to find sticks and other things so it's an alternative
 
I'm sorry, but if you think about it.. Its really funny how they like the taste of poo. It just makes me lol.
