My neighbor Dean just walked into my house beer in hand, he's about 55. He offered me one and to smoke me and my mom up with "this is like princess mountain shit maaan you stick your head in the bag and its like HOLY SHIT maaan." He's leaving now cause "I just got home from work and I'm tired maan I gotta get stoned I'll be back." I love Dean.

Why do you love VT?

He's back now maaaan and he brought his bowl.

i love vt becuase anything goes here and the quality of life is so amazing. when i first came here as a freshman at UVM we quickly learned the phrase, "it's okay we're in vermont!" take a walk down church st. and you'll know what i mean. not to mention that is it incredibly beautiful here, and i will never get enough of the sunsets over lake champlain, and looking towards the snow-capped peaks of mount mansfield!

you have no right to say that masshole. i would take vermont anyday over mass. im from NH and got deep repects for vermont cus they know whats up.

i live in massachusetts and there is no way mass is better than vt. the weather here is just way to average. the rain snow line just keeps going north. put me out west any day though

If nobodys been their, I was born and raised in JAMAICA, vermont for 18 years. and its probably the best town in the world. so yea.

no offence, but 413 isn't the real mass. the 617 is where its at. you know you're state sucks when your largest city has only 30,000 people. the only thing vermont is good for is skiing.

The only reason Vermont may suck is because of people like you. Weekend warriors from fucking Mass, NY, and NJ clogging up the roads and the slopes acting like you own the place. Stay the fuck home if that's how you feel about VT.

I am from vermont and go to UVM.

Burlington is incredibly different than the rest of the state. Burlington actually has a youth culture and is very liberal, while the predominant part of the state is very rural, conservative, and redneck. The mountains are great, love them. Snow is really good for east coast but I think people that come to UVM or other schools in burlington from out of state have a very skewed idea of what vermont is.

The kids that rock rasta 802 stickers on the backs of their cars are not vermonters

voting for obama doesn't really show much anymore since he won such a ridiculous amount. Where I am from which is right outside Montpelier def has a very mixed community but way more funny redneck kids with their lifted muddin trucks and hunting camps. Most of my friends form home are huge rednecks, love em, but they are. Also i live in a considerably liberal area. Just think about how many times you have been up into the northeast kingdon or anywhere in southern vermont that isnt a ski town.

i dont have to lock my doors in fear of being raped at night when im at my cottage in vermont. yeah

i love the mad poon on the ski hills i get...ever got ski head...its kinda like road head but you're skiing down the mountain

accttuually he isn't. A ton of people outside the burlington area dont think they can change the mass Burlington liberal vote so they actually just dont bother voting.

i've heard a shitload of good NEK stories this week. Burlington is nothing like that but the north east kingdom is a true original.

any true vermonter knows the best thing about all of chittenden county is that its just a short drive to vermont...just gotta say i moved out to SLC for school and after living in VT all my life this is the most boring depressing place known to man....except for the skiing utah might have us beat for that

i love vermont. but i would never want to grow up/live there. Going to school in burlington is real sick but i liked growing up in Boston, not the middle of the woods. Burlington area is so beautiful though, i dont know much about the rest of the state. I have a bunch of friends from Middleburry and it seems nice there too

word. it would suck to live in the woods. everyone always says that its so much prettier and nicer, but they dont got shit to do. plus people would laugh at you if you said you were from vt.
