I don't know about other's out there, but for me, skiing is the only time where nothing else in the world matters. It doesn't matter if you just failed a big test, or broke up with a boyfriend or girlfriend, or anything else that i bothering you. When skiing, life is good. When CR said "that's (skiing) worth dying for." I believe that for him, and many others, this quote is true. Growing up, CR was one of those guys i looked up to, and wanted to become just like him. Thoughts?

Ya, I didn't do too well on a test last weekend, and I drove 2 hours to ski for the last 30 minutes of the day. It was definitely worth it-- skiing cures everything. CR had a legendary attitude

Yeah. "On the way down it's awesome". He put a smile on my face, made me stoked to ski and to be a skier. No ego involved, no push for who has the most steeze or the biggest tricks, or the longest tall tee. No need for afterbang. Just passion and happiness for skiing. It takes a CR segment to show what's truly important in skiing.
I can safely say that CR is the skier that drove me to buy my first pair of twin tips. His segment in focused blew my mind, and because of him I wanted to be a part of this again.
Thank you sir, I salute you. I only hope I can follow your example.

i couldn't agree more with you. Skiing for me is my one and only outlet where i worry about nothing in the world. Skiing for me is freedom, and CR was right, for him and i and alot of other people "it's worth dying for." i have snapped my collar bone through my back and dislocated my shoulder, i have broken my arm twice and my thumb once and i have 30% of my cartlidge gone in my knee. But what CR showed all of us is the courage to get back up, and love is the reason we don't stop.
Thanks CR

that joke was in poor taste man.

CR was my, as well as many other young skiers inspiration growing up. He will never be forgotten.

Heros are remembered, but legends never die.

CR YOU FUCK!

Exactly how I look upon it. CR took skiing as a way to just live. Go out there, forget your troubles, snap in and just plain and simple, ski. Extremely inspirational guy. RIP/SIP. He will never be forgotten.

i'm not going to lie like a lotta kids out here and say he changed my life or inspired my skiing just because he was cut down in the prime of his comeback/passion. CR seemed like a nice guy out there doing what he loved, the way he loved to do it and that deserves the most respect out of anything else.

well, it is one of the few things i might actually die for. it is the only thing that always makes me happy
