^No, AT bindings pivot infront of the toe so you would have no way of putting pressure on your back ski when turning. Tele bindings allow you to flex your foot forward behind the toes. This allows you to pressure the ski with your toes and the ball of your foot. It's not as effective and your whole foot thus the reason that a tele turn is harder to control than an alpine turn. But it's much better than what you'd have to do to try a tele turn on AT bindings.
