guess what I'm getting at is he skis like a skier, and doesn't try to look like a snowboarder or a skateboarder on skis. Maybe it's a euro thing.

Gorilla or monkey looks good, but a fair amount of guys don't ride with gorilla.

Alot is based on the skier and their personal prefernce, but you can see alot of skiers with great style, with or without the gorilla. Just smooth stuff with grabs really makes the skier.

candide is sick and goes huge, but honestly he has really bad style. he flails, pole plants, kicks his legs everywhere, and he looks so forced on rails. im not arguing about his trickage though. 810 to rail is sick.

dude, i don't care what he is doing. as far as i know, the trick doesn't have a name, its a 360 backflip superman style more than a dspin, but whatever. the part where he is all laid out and looking for the landing, is just, insane. it takes mad skill.

i dont know how people honestly can hate on candide for ACTUALLY USING his poles. as for flailing or smoothness, if anyone has seen the vids from the candide invite, those smoothest goddamn cork 7/9's i have ever seen... over a 120 ft booter
