why hate racers

i don't hate on racers, except the ones that come into the park and and roll over the jumps and ruin everything (i groom the park during the day and have to fix their messes). there are a few that can actually make the landings of the jumps but most cant' and that is what pisses me off.

big fuckin deal if they make it look boring. They enjoy racing like you enjoy park. I'd personally be more upset to see skiers looked at as wannabe ghetto kids.
i dont see how some of you guys can hate racers. without racing, skiing would be SUCH a smaller sport, if it even existed at all. just abouteveryone thats anyone today in skiing came from some kind of racing, even the whole idea of freestyle came from mogul RACING. so before you bitch about racers, think about it, without them you wouldnt be skiing.
as for them coming into the park, sure it might be annoying if they cut you off or whatever, but that really doesnt happen around here. but how can you hate someone just for doing shitty tricks off jumps? if things went the way youd like it, it seems like no beginner would ever be allowed in the sport. so basically, only people who are so good at freestyle would even be allowed in the park, we'd draw a line somewhere and say something retarded like "you can only come in here if you can do (insert some trick)". so then only people who already freestyle would be allowed to, and in a few years the sport would be dead.

Not all racers are gay, but some things some of them do bug the shit out of a lot of people, hence the hate-
Invade the park in general
Cut people off when they go to hit something in the park
Cut between rails and jumps like a slalom course creating a major hazard
They come down the hill and blow through the whole lift line and go on the noxt chair coming with whoever happens to be on it
They hit the lips onto the rails as jumps and really screw them up
And lastly- Thy have no resepct for what we do.
They have the whole mountain, why not let us have our one or two hills?

i race but i wouldnt consider myself a racer, i do it to ski everyday, but yeah when the racers come in the park its annoying but there are also regular people who wreck the park, dont hate on the racers

i live in the south, i dont think that
racing put me into the best shape of my life... not complainin. Maybe its not progressing but i think it should be considered an entirely different category.
you can make generalizations about any group of people, and probably has never brought about anything good. judging individuals you know or have cut you off in the park is one thing, but judging an entire sport is a different story.
