Just curious why so many of you hate on boarders? I don't get it.

I have never had a boarder give me attitude cus I am on skis in a park, and I have never given them attitude. I respect their sport, and I think they respect ours as well.

 
they think they own the park..ive had snowboards tell me to get out of the pipe cause im a skier and skiers arent allowed in the park then i watched them go half way up the wall and back down and im boostin out of the pipe..theres one reason i dont like some snowboards but some a pretty cool

 
theres always gonna be the few snowboarders who have no respect for us skiers and vice-versa, theres always gonna be dumbasses wherever u go

you just have to spot which snowboarders are chill and which ones are in it because they play ssx tricky

most are preety cool and i think skiers owe alot of respect to them...

same here, I'v never felt unwelcome or been dissed, everyone here usually directs thier hate towards the gorbies taking family pictures on tables, or the thugs that roll in with their chain hangin outside of thier jacket.

A snowboarder ran right in to me the other day and ripped about 3 inches of my topsheet off, and he told me to watch where i am going...i was so pissed, i started cusing him out and he just road away like the pussys they all r!!!!

 
I dont really have a problem with boarders, but like someone else said; there's pricks in every sport. My biggest gripe around where I am, are the little racer kids who think they're hot shit. They cut off a lot of people and think they own the mountain just because they wear a body condom...it's not right.

All the snowboarders I know personally are very cool and we have mutual respect and all that jazz, its those dirty hicks from way outa no where(no offence to nice and or other respectable hicks) that come to the mountain and because theres so damn many of there dirty selves, they take over the park and swamp all the goodstuff, run off the rail inruns so we have to remake them, and there aaaaall snowbaorders.

Also, considering were more underground then them we have a natural defience of the big bro.

the majority of boarders are cool. but there are also a ton of boarding posers, kids straight from abercrombie, who just sit in the park, cuz they wanna be cool and dont ever try anything. scarily im starting to see alot more skiers like this which sucks ass, but once again the majority of boarder are fine

The only thing I can say is I hate how people sit on the mountain in everyones way.. It just pisses me off soo much, and its about 90% snowboarders that do that. Even out of the park, for the most part they think the whole damn mountain is their bench.. atleast sit off to the sides!

i have total respect for snowboarders because what some of them do is so sick and a lot of tricks that skiers do have come from snowboarding. There are those posers that think they own the park and think skiing the gayest sport out there but there are also skiers like that too who think snowboardings gay. I think if you respect them they will respect you back

alot of people hate them because no matter what they do snowboarders will always look waaayyyy better than them on any rail or jib....and ive always skied.

snowboarders are fine with me just as long as they dont think that they are better the every body els. same thing with skiing. but i think that skiing is more cool.
