Why get all Black Gear?

Because that way you can be all murdered out yo and the sickest thug on the mountain. Or something.

its alot easier to match colors when you only buy one, plus if your color blind its the way to go!

What are you talking about?

Black and white outerwear is much cheaper then coloured outerwear, coloured printer cartridges to print off jackets and pants is so expensive.

Because you get to be a murdered out jet fighter cruising down the mountain smoking blunts. and no one will question you

my theory is that kids want to wear similar clothing as black people, ya know, baggy pants, tall tees, etc...

once they've reached the point where their clothing resembles the ones black people wear the most, they need to step it up a notch and they actually have to become "black" to resemble them even more ....

you get my point ?

if you can't look black, you simply become black ?

All black outerwear is for poaching. It's a lot easier getting away with that without looking like an epileptic skittle.

Never gets dirty. And you can wear your ski jacket on a date with a fine ass chick in aspen and look like a pimp instead of a 16 year old wannabe rapper.

I just laughed out loud at the image of someone wearing his 3XL Saga/First Drop jacket on a date.

because many freeskiers have weight issues and black makes you look slimmer. you also never see a freeskier wearing horizontal stripes, or belly free shirts. its simply to cover up that jelly.

I kinda like the black on black look. It goes together without having an overpowering matchyness to it.

why get all colored gear? to look like the rainbow? why get all black gear? to look like b-dog or henrik harlut? who knows?

I've always referred to somebody in all black as darth vader, especially if they have a gloss black helmet and goggles/goggle lens.

In my opinion the whole looking like an idiot thing comes from all the X's before the L, not necessarily the colour of the gear.

I also have a theory.

I have come to the conclusion that skiers are trying to look like their favorite candies. Those who wear many bright colors are trying to emulate skittles. Those who wear red and black are trying to look like kit kats. And last but not least those who wear black are trying to look like hersheys chocolate bars.

When have you ever seen a rapper wearing anything close to say color saga, FD, or lethal descent? Thats what I thought.
