if you think big L actually dropped this off the top you havnt heard enough actual freestyle. its possible to drop rhymes like that but not in succession.

Personally I think Tyler and Earl are some of the best rappers out there, they just waist a lot of their talent on whack beats.
 
I like OF but im sorta over Tyler. I love Earl, Hodgy, Domo, Mike G, and I fucking LOVE Frank Ocean. Frank Oceans blowing up, hes got two features on Kanye and Jay Zs upcoming album. The only other person featured on the album is Beyonce so thats a pretty big deal
 
you don't know what your talking about. I could post 10 different freestyles where Big L kills it just as hard.

Even two of my friends can spit almost as well and seemless. You obviously haven't ever been around a good cipher or you just don't know talented people.

And yea I'm sure bits he had said before but that's how a freestyles always work. It's impossible to dish out 100% original material all the time. It's being able to piece together all the ideas in your head into a coherent lyric that makes a good freestyle.

There's a reason hes known as the best ever.

I like a couple of Tyler's songs, most are pretty terrible though. I'm a fan of Earl, Hodgy Beats, and some others.

I see it just the opposite.

In my opinion, Tyler is weird and Hopsin tries to be weird. Tyler disses B.O.B. because of shitty airplanes being over-played on the radio, and then Hopsin disses everyone under the sun because god knows why. Who disses Lupe? A newcomer trying to start shit with a harmless potential GOAT.

Also saying "Goblin sucks so much I get blow jobs from it" is such a bad line I don't think Tyler even needs a rebuttal.

But to each his own haha.
 
Hopsin is such a pussy dude. hahahah like he was in hollywood and had tv spots. Tyler is from LA and was just another fucking skate rat with like no future. OF started making tracks in 2007 he is just hella on the grind. ANd to the guy says they don't care about selling records... they do. Tyler is open as fuck about how much he wants a grammy and a mtv award. He wants to sell records and make money but he doesnt wanna sell out. FUck hopsin he is such a poser like riding the wave of OF. OF is bringing on a new genre of hip hop, its low brow smart art hop, hopsin is just like hey i can say i beat off and make fun of people!!! yeahhhh i'm hopsin i was on thats so raven!!!
 
Hopsin is fucking sick. Who cares if he dissed OF to get some publicity. It's one track. All his other tracks speak for themselves and if he has to take some shots at Tyler to get people to hear his shit then more power to him.

He's miles above Tyler. Tyler is a shock artist who will fall of when this trend is over. When it comes to actual content and rhymesn Hopsin kills it and will continue to do so.

They're super ambitious and clearly covet fame, but they're truly doing what they want and forced the mainstream to accept them, instead of pandering to the mainstream like 99% of commercially successful artists do. I respect that these KIDS (they're practically children) are doing their own thing and have perfectly marketed and branded themselves. Plus, as a mediocre half-serious MC, I respect their craft too.
 
He dissed Tyler for being an attention whore when all he does is diss people who are way more successful than he'll ever be and wear contacts (like Tyler) and say whatever nasty shit comes to his mind (like Tyler) it's just that when he does it, it sounds forced and he does it in his corny ass Disney voice.

Before I start, Ive listened to Goblin and Bastard all the way through, but I dont have them on repeat and I dont listen to them regularly.

That said... I have tons of respect for Tyler and all of OF. Its a group of kids barely out of high school who are making music and making a LOT of money, and they make unique music based on what they want to create. Those 3 things are enough to make me think they have something going for them, because I am going to college, and they are travelling the world, rapping, and partying.

Watch some interviews with Tyler. I guarantee youll be surprised at what hes actually like. No partying, no smoking, just a kid who likes music and had a plan. So much respect.

people who think tyler is about shock and making a spectacle have no idea what the music is about at all. their shows aren't shock or spectacle at all the craziest thing they do is stage dive. If they were into shock they'd have like a gwar rap show or some shit hahaha.. they don't. its art its comedic. its for fun.
hopsin tries to trash people because he knows kids who hate lil wayne drake and lupe will be like this guy hates him to i should listen to him. he isnt new, or creative, or tight he is a lame mother fucker riding a hype wave.
