I have no idea why he's so popular with the 15-20 crowd. Maybe some of you on NS could enlighten me as to what you like about him? I believe he's kind of crappy, and a bit of an idiot.

you're right he does kinda suck, but somehow recently i've been drawn in by some odd future stuff.

i generally don't like rap except for a few select artists, im a metal fan. i think what caught my ear the most was their beats. not a lot of people use suck heavy and catchy beats.

i got EARL and listened to it a couple times through and thought it was pretty cool,which lead me to download goblin.

at first i was thinking that its a fucking nonsense shit show about rape and how underground he is. but then i listented to the title track and the weird beats and interludes were just really interesting to me.

i still dont like most of goblin, but i got bastard now and it seems pretty good, specially, once again the title track.

so basically i still think he's kinda shitty but odd futures got some potential. im looking forward to an EARL album when he returns

and to answer your question, kids ride tyler's dick cause he's a skateboarding punk who rapes girls (not really). it reminds me of the early 2000s when kids were all over eminem's dick. i think it ruined eminem since everything after 2003 has been totally shitty.

He presents himself like a moron, his music doesn't do anything to prove the opposite. I think it'll be a sad day when he procreates.

I remember when I hated on odd future because everyone was all over them. Then I started to listen. It's awesome.

But when people are continuously saying their lyrics over and over all the time (you know who you are, yes I mad) it's fucking annoying.
 
Hey, at least he doesn't possess an obnoxious sense of superiority and a penchant for under-achieving and wasting his parents money.
 
i love tyler, in fact, most of OF are really talented rappers, just give it a chance. oh also, there is a little thing called opinion that will lead this thread straight into a flame fest.
 
i agree with this. i enjoy listening to em every now and then but you dont have to pretend you're in a cult and write otwgkta all over the place. you're not in a fucking wolf gang so stfu

its cuz all of odd futures stuff is like art. as gay as that sounds. like if you listen to their first tracks all the way up until today. they build off of stuff. like you wont understand some of their jokes because you havent heard the song the first bring it up in. so if you hear weird random lyrics. like "tina still aint permed her fucking weave" its a joke off of another song "tina" where the chorus is them yelling tina perm your fucking weave. idk i look at their shit as art. cuz thats how they look at it. they dont look at it as hate punk rap music they look at it as low brow art. I don't mind the hate towards them i love them and frankly i hope they dont get the opportunity to sell out. i almost wish they would release like one album each and one more from earl then have them all die in a plane crash. personally i think they, tyler and earl especially, would go down as a a tupac or biggie type figures for the rap game. i love OFWGKTA, saw them in san fran last week and im seeing them in boulder in october.
 
I find his music fresh, along with odd future. They don't a fuck about selling records, they don't care about haters, they just make music. Yonkers is fucking amazing, one of my favorite songs since the dr.dre 2001 album. The beats are unique and the lyrics are thoughtful. They definitely have some wild songs but actually listen to them, they're pretty tight. I like that they speak their mind and watch a few interviews with tyler, hes smart, hes motivated and is going all the way.
 
they're alright, but if that's all you listen to and you truly believe they are the best then you don't know shit about hip-hop.
 
hopsin sucks dick. and he calls out tyler on his yonkers video but he is the one who dresses in drag twice in his video. this fool sucks dick.
 
ya i agree that whole group is a piece of shit that sounds like retards trying rhyme. maybe its because i personally don't like much hip-hop/rap stuff but theres no reason to obsess over them like theyre the shit cause theyre really just plain shit.

i greatly dislike the representation of people who like Odd Future. For some reason they seem to elicit a real douchey response from younger fans.
 
in interviews he's actually really intelligent. sure his choice of words isn't the best but he knows what he's talking about, he knows what he wants, and he's gonna get it whether you like him or not. the point of odd future is to get as much publicity as possible and you're only helping him.
