Why east coast so gangster

the answer to this question is very simple.

ok. theres no where to ride on the east coast except the streets. so of course we wear the hugest clothes ever to keep the gangster steeze. now if anyone from the east lived out west where snow is up above your knees kids would know to tone it down a little cuz sagging to your knees wouldnt be so practical then. and when your waist deep, people cant tell how big your pants are anyway. until i get out west, xxl fo life yo.
 
hahaha well i live on the east coast...and my pants are mediums.....but i know exactly what this guys talkin about. Will it ever stop, no. Is it ridiculous to see people skiing with their asses in view? Yea. but if it really bothers you that much you need to learn to chill. People will always do what they want regardless of what some online chat thread says. So if you wanna get rid of the XXXXXXXXL pants pants the next kid you see wearing them...he'll think twice before throwing on his small-country sized pants and then you'll be on the road to everyone wearing nice fitting ski gear

Learning how to ski in sketch conditions makes u good skier. but its not like we never ski powder. Not all of the east coast is ice and groomers. My home mountain is jay peak and it has lots of powder and backcountry shit. When i go out west its just easier cuz the snow is softer and lighter and the trees are less tight.
 
yeah a few kids laughed at my 4xl 2 length jersey at high north and the 3 xl sweat pants, i donno why though.
 
idk i think us east coasters should just admit that in terms of terrain west coast dominates we should keep our east coast pride though which i think this thread is about

i still dotn get why people say if you can ski ice in the east coast you can ski anything. what the hell does skiing ice have to do with skiing deep pow.

Has anyone else noticed how plenty of east coasters would love to come ski out west, but no west coasters want to go ski in the east?
 
I really dislike the east coast in general. Not the skiers, but a large portion of the people, the cities, and the whole atmosphere. It is a pretty terrible place to live. (I lived in Maryland, Ohio, and New Jersey for a few years when I was really youung, thank god we moved west) It seems like everybody is out trying to prove themselves or something. There is this wannabe macho/badass vibe that is a huge turnoff. I really can't stand it.
 
mayb ppl wear large cloths in the east coast becasue they dont have nearly enough mountian to ski than in the west coast...therefore, not as good as a work out and THATS why were were big cloths
 
i agree i ski the east and im sick of wannabe wiggers who take up room in the park cant ski for shit. style is definitly important, but just so all these wannabes no...50 cent does not ski!
