Why dont skiers have style like this>?

Because we have 2 boards to control with 1 foot each, they have 1 board to control with 2 feet. I think it makes it easier to make things look good, except for their arms though...
 
are you talking about the riding style or clothing...

the afterbang thing is wayy too try hard.. it looks like hes posing on a cat walk in zoolander.. or that hes a flimingo.. mad style in the air though,. but he aint got nothin on MFM.. and im talking about mfms riding style not what he wears. the gangster thing is kinda lame too.. i just appreciate his riding style its amazing
 
....I dunno, I'm not saying the stuff in your vid wasn't sick, but all the riders in it had their arms up and/or flapping around the whole time and I just can't find that stylish...what i love about afterbang and brogan in particular is that his arms are down and by his sides at all times which i just find sooo stylish!!
 
skiers just need to be more creative in their jibs and stuff like the thing jonah owens did in the vid posted
 
I think they have better style on jibs for sure, but big snowboarding spins 9s and up don't compare to skiing at all especially in the pipe.
 
yeah i think we have better style than snowboarders, that vid of mfm didnt impress me much at all, he just looked stiff and akward. we got people like delorme, brogan, wallish, pk, nyman and the whole surface crew, etc, they all make it look so much more smooth and natural.
snowboarding definatly beats us with creativity, it seems like ski movie companies are more concerned with epic shit rather than fun little jibs and messing around, which sucks. cause skiing has a ton of potential to do sweet creative stuff.
 
pfff not every snowboarder is an MFM or Nicolas Müller.

just like not every skier is an Eric Pollard, Pep or Mikael Deschenaux.

 
not sure if it has been mentioned yet. but go to youtube and look for the 'apples and oranges' trailer or the 'picture this' trailer both have awsome filming, and great riding by some snowboarders

 
The second vid had some sweet jibbin, but i cant watch these vids in the summer. It would ruin it because id just be thinking about skiing
 
That first vid wasn't anything special style wise.

And skiers do have styles like that, everyone does, it's called wearing a large hoody while you ride. Def nothing new to the sport.

Dude is fucking simple. To have good style at skiing you need to be a master of your body. You have to worry about your legs and your arms and then have to maintain them, so you dont look like a pencil fagot or cockroacher. We all know the pencil kids and the spastic lurkers right? On the other hand snowboarders are attached to their boards and their legs dont have to worrt about going all over the place. SO obviously snowboaders are going to have an easier time making shit look dirty but a skier that has good style is super talented. Another beautiful thing about skiing is styles are so varied. It can look as gay as Ricky Martin or as hot as... some really hot chick.
recap skiing takes a complete mastering of your body and how it moves through the air. Style takes years and years to develope, snowboaders it seem have a head start or training wheels i guess you could say.
