why don't many girls go in the park?

speaking for myself, that whole getting hurt thing plays a big role in how much i'll do in the park. but you know what's wierd? i''ve found that girls with older brothers are more likely to try stuff. more ballzy i guess. just a random thing i've noticed.

um all the girls that freeski are boarders ( lol the irony) . I did see today 2 girls on skis in the park, but they sucked so yeah went off the side of the rail jumps and didn'T try anything so um that doesn't count I guess and like I saw an old lady with scratches (represent!) and I'm like do you free ski and she's like nooo so yeah, no girls that can free ski on skis in the park

 
not many girls go in the park because of all of you little pricks, most of you have no respect. if you see a girl in hte park you dont give her props, you tell her to 'get back in the kitchen' 'Go take my picture' or 'you suck' so she doesnt even wanna bother learning anything in the park becasue you will just keep being an ass. if a girl is good at park all you can say is 'she looks like a dude' and try your hardest to be better than her. grow up boys and maybe you'll see some chicks in your park.

well ive seen some girls in the park on skis but they just ride over the jumps and just mess them up...and ive never seen a girl on a snowboard in the park before...they just go down the little slopes

i was at windham where i dont usually ski but i saw ALOT of decent/hot girl skiiers. None in the tiny little park though

I am a girl freestyle skier (moguls), and I go in the park for fun and I pretty much suck, but I just have fun with it. The reason girls don't go in the park is because they aren't as ballsy as guys and they are afraid of getting hurt. It's definitely not because they are intimidated by guys though.

We got 3 skiers in our school and no girls...but everybody is snowboarding..it sucks...they just think it is cool and go with it...but when u see them do it..they suck

I swaped the Alps with the Middle of Wisconson can't wait till I can go back where I belong!
 
Where i live most girls are really ditzy trend followers so they obviously don't ski. I am not discriminating against the female sex but thats what seems to be goin on where i live. HOWEVER i was at a hill a few days ago and there was a 12 year old girl on a set of twins (really short to) that pulled a really stylish 360 of one of the biggest jumps. It was wicked. I can see more girls coming in the future though because i see skiing is really making a comeback.

 
The only reason snowboarder girls go in the park is because their is a higher percentage of boarders overall that suck, so they can come on in and look better than half the guys. But skiing is much less trendy, so the average skill is much higher, so it's harder to look good because you are expected to do something when the snowboarder chicks can just cheer their boyfriends on. Maybe I'm full of shit though. Anyways, I have loads of respect for any girl skier who hits ANY feature in the park.

 
Shorty_T- dont put the blame for girls not skiing park on guys who do ski park. I seriously doubt anyone on this site who saw a girl in the park would say any of the things u listed and if one of them did, im sure anyone who heard it would have up the girl. Ive seen my share of girls trying in the park and ive never siad, or seen anything said to any of them. If a girl doesnt ski park its her own fault/loss, it has nothing to do with guys like us who ski park and try stuff

I would really love to see more girls in the park since it really helps me sack up! Girls get my testosterone pumping. I mean sure it's motivating (kinda) to impress guys but girls get me goin. Girls have been known to cause a complete disregard for personal safety in guys and that makes people try stuff.
