Why does volkl have boring graphics now?

I had these skis

Which have a pretty cool and details graphic. I was thinking I might want another pair of walls because they're awesome and this is what I see.

It's an awesome ski that is durable as fuck and I want a new pair, but I do not like how bland they went with this graphic.
 
See that is a perfect example of taste. I think the wall is one of the best looking skis next season. In general more basic graphics sell better but that does not mean everyone will like them but but a ski because it's a ski you want not because it looks cool.

So cover it with stickers? Why wouldn't you buy a ski you like based on the graphic?
 
Are you kidding? The 2016 Wall is the sexiest ski on the market, let alone being one of the best preforming park skis as well.
 
I know what you mean. I went to SIA in February, and I have to be completely honest I was not thoroughly impressed with any company's 2016 graphics, Volkl included. There were only a few skis that I saw in the whole convention that I liked, and those were probably the Kartels, the Afterbangs and Blends, and the Shreditor 102 with the retro graphic. Everything else was mediocre

Maaan they had some of the best graphics back in the day, especially that Dumont pro ski ... now their ski graphics make all the park skis look like race skis IMO

Do you think? They make some amazing skis. The NFx is incredible and the rocker range and MTN lab skis are so good

I guess I don't feel like I'm noticing any relevant marketing of their skis. I'm not doubting the quality of design and shapes or saying it is lacking, I can only speak for myself but, I feel so disillusioned with them as a brand from a quality and image perspective. Especially when there is such a good, strong,l showing of designs from other, smaller, independent and otherwise brands who convey more an interest in the community.
