Why does the boarding culture suck

so seriously. i snowboard. and why does the snowboard culture suck. i barley even ride with and boarders. all i ride with are skiers because there are so many dbad riders. and even more how come snowboarding cant come out with a descent movie! skiing comes out with tons. why hasn;t anyone made a newschoolers for boarders. why because half the freaking snowboarders in this world are posing dooshes! freakin think i may have picked the wrong stick 14 years ago, some times.
 
I only kind of agree with you. But that's why I switched to skiing. And there will never be a snowboarding version of NS.
 
I'm pretty sure the boarding culture sucks so much because boarders don't take 10 seconds to use the spell check that NS so kindly provides to us.
 
I snowboard, my crew is split half skiers, half snowboarders. None of my freinds are dbags, probably just the people who think they're hot shit and only ride for the money are douches.

factor films had made some great movies.thats it thats allw as amazing and I usually don't like powderstop making snowboarding threads on NSI snowboard
 
don't care to prove your other statements wrong, but these two are quite easy ..

^^still have to see a skiing movie that gets me more stoked for snow then this ...
and argument 2) at least half of NS are posing dooshes ....
^^not saying it's a bad thing tough, they provide plentiful giggles !
 
I actually ski with more snowboarders than skiers because most of my ski buddies just are not that good. But that is juts me. I have meet some dbag snowboarders and some dbag skiers it just comes with the territory.
 
Snowboarding got really really cool, so everyone does it. Loads of people are dicks, so your sample size is bigger. Math!
 
I ride with both skiers and snowboarders and we all get along fine. Sure there are douches that ride, but there are douches that ski, in fact there are douches that participate in all sorts of activities.

And to say that there are no good snowboarding videos is asinine.

cause a lot of boarders think that snowboarding is about being the coolest kid on the mountain. They care to much about how they look and don't try to have fun.

As for OP, I find the opposite to be true. Most skiers are so obsessed with the fashion show and looking like their favorite pros that they forget to even have fun.

I love riding with snowboarders, especially the stage 5 guys. Ive gone whole days with them and only taken 1 run in the park, but had soooo much fun, its awesome!

Also loved how they decided who got the free board at the premiere - first girl to throw her bra on the stage. beats watching kids chug slurpees or something everyday

Snowboard videos are "in general" better than ski movies year after year.

i ride with pretty much all boarders because none of my friends ski really.only one of them is really good and the rest think there awesome and are all cocky
 
Snowboarding or the culture doesn't suck - at all...

And I enjoy watching a lot of snowboard movies more than watching ski movies - NO I don't LIKE snowboarding more (just sometimes), but the movies itself are often nicer.

And there's good snowboard communities...like Sierrasnowboard or something, really nice people there!
 
I dont support your generalization but i can see where you are coming from. in my opinion the snowboarding culture just isn't as organized as the skiing culture is. when snowboarding got big at the turn of the century, many skiers switched. the skiers that remained formed a community (i.e. ns) and that bond (not switching) has kept them together.

In the crew i ride with, im the only skier. just how it is in my area; most people conformed to "what was cool" and that was switching to snowboarding.
 
Yes! Sierrasnowboard is awesome! They have such good deals all the time and they give away stuff every day. I bought a pair of union forces from them for 120(really really good binders) then they went on sale for 100, they gave me back 20 in store credit, bought some pants that were on sale for 40 all in all got binders and pants for 120. Highly recommended site!
