Why does supreme cost so much?

So do I, thats why I dont spend money on Supreme to look like a skater. If I wanted to look like a skater I could buy the same shit supreme sells made by someone else for 1/4 the cost.
 
Why does it matter? they can charge that much because people are willing to pay that much, simple as that. Supply and demand is the basis of most economies, and supreme follows that very well.

I'm wearing a supreme shirt right now, payed just as much as I would for a jiberish shirt, which is just as much as I would pay for most brands.
 
It was the same price before he went big. But for real the shirts aren't that expensive just really limited so the re-sell price is fucking huge

because people will spend that much. it resells on forums for twice that easily. it's like how people collect nike dunks. When the pigeons were released, they were 75 bucks. now they're well over 1000 because people are willing to spend that much.
 
most dunks are 75 bucks when they're released (excluding limited runs like the FLOAMS and sample guccis)
 
I'm assuming that the resale value of supreme has gone up since Tyler though? Correct me if I'm wrong, that's just a guess
 
one time i went to fill up and they were all out of gas except for supreme so they were selling it for the price of the normal shit, it was blessed. p.s. i know this thread is not about gasoline but i thought it would be when i read the title so OP you'll just have to read my gasoline story and deal with it cus its your fault for not being specific

Tey retailed fir more then 75 homie. And alot of dunks are more than 75. They are pretty played imo though. Im guessing pigeons go for lik 3000ish
 
lots of dunks retail for close to it. Tiffany's were 80 and now go up to 600 and heinekens were only 65 at retail
 
Wells theres a differance between tiffs and the pigeons..i think they were only released at staple and two ither stores. Im guessing for 300. Shops raise the price. Its not always box price. Yeezys box price wer 215 but shops sold them for around 300

supreme cost what it does because it is quality stuff and it is very limited. Anything limited cost a lot more than crappy dc stuff that makes hundreds of thousands of copies of the same shirt
