Why does geopper want everyone on newschoolers to suck his dick?

Just seems like he is pushing really hard to get everyone's approval. Why can't he just accept the fact that he is a really great skier but people just think he is a d-bag.
 
Wait so Brogan can create an edit of over acted thuged out skiing and everyone gets a boner but Goepper does it and now you think he wants newschoolers to suck his dick? No, it's called having fun and making the edit you want to.
 
trying to get newschoolers to like him? Honestly haven't seen him respond to threads or do anything to make people like him. In his edit he may have just been trying new shit and not just focused on a bunch of people on NS talking shit hidden behind their computers
 
I don't really see him trying hard to be liked. He just does his own thing and I can respect it
 
the last sentence in his evolution of geopper says "what do you guys think of his style now?". I read that as "hey guys, nick geopper really wants to be cool and he made this edit to try and prove to you guys he is really cool so what do you think?" I also feel like he maybe doesn't have a pro model because his sponsors fear no one will buy it.

Part of being a pro is also being marketable by your sponsors. So if he doesn't give a flying fuck about the freestyle skiing community then why is he pro?
 
I don't really think he's doing anything wrong, everyone always complain(s/ed) about his style and how he's a robot and he just took everyones feedback and fixed it and is just trying to fit in to the freestyle community which I think he deserves to be a big part of and not get discriminated for actually slaying hard as fuck with some style now. Im am officially on goeppers side after "the prelude" #progoepper

NS isn't the entire freestyle skiing community. There are plenty of kids at my hill that would probably list Geopper as one of their favorite skier.

While NS might not be the entirety of the primarily park skiing community, it does carry significant weight as it is "Skiing's Online Community".

To be a pro, you have to provide your sponsors with something and thats usually marketability and presence, and Goepper has presence but in all the "wrong ways". When he puts out an edit it either gets hated on by little Phil and Henrik fan boys that think anything that isn't Wu-Tang or buttery is "bad for skiing" or he tries something a little different like "Prelude" and now some people don't like it because they think he is changing to appeal to us.
 
i dont really give a shit what he does. hes not my type of skier(yet?)

thought the prelude was respectable.

first he has 'no style', then hes 'trying to hard to be style-y'.

bet you haters try harder for steeze than he does.
 
He said in his interview on here that he litterally gives negative fucks about what the ns community thinks about him, he actually thanked them for hating him....

Active members of NS (commenting on stuff, reading forum, hating) are a small % of people that buy freeskiing related products. Would it hurt for NS to have a boner for him, no, but I doubt it affects his sponsors that much. Look at Shawn White, the "core" snowboarders have hated on him for the longest time, but he has made himself and his sponsors more money than anyone else.
 
I don't think he wants people's approval, he's just PROGRESSING and trying new shit which is a part of the sport. Weird right? I don't like Goepper, but I'm not going to hate on him for trying to do something new to him.

I'n addition to this post. Marketing isn't always about selling a certain product. Nick skis for Volkl and Volkl makes other skis which are made foryyour more traditional skier. Nick being sponsored by Volkl is more about associating the name with a toptier product over mmarketing the volkl wall.

Someone who buys the volkl wall has researched products and marketing won't affect him. However if average Joe bloke dad over there just saw that volkl is a great brand with great riders and that will affect his decision.
 
i continue to not understand why people are always so critical of people like geopper (or comp skiers in general). it is free skiing, so people can do whatever they want. if you want to have a coach and train for the olympics, you are free to do that. if you want to ski like a "robot" you are free to do that too. freeskiing means letting people do whatever they want to, on skis. you dont have to nose butter everything or emulate steez to be free. imo

Brogan never changed his style. He stuck to his own ideas about what he wanted his skiing to look like.

Goepper is trying to change and it's looking super lame.

Volkl has nothing to do with it.

Ahmet rides for volkl and he is a fucking goon.

Look at Tanner Hall's transformation from being on top and people worshiping him to not being able to ski for a year. In his documentary, he points out there is more than skiing. Being young and talented can get you famous, but one kid is always going to come out of nowhere and be better than you. He will push you until you get hurt, and in skiing its the lead cause of retiring. Tanner seemed to have woken up and went from being a pro skier to skier role model.

Wallisch has changed his style, Henrik has changed his style, Dane has changed his style. Every skier has changed their style in one way shape or form. It's called growing as a skier and developing your own individual style. Look at Virtika, they didn't use to be these ballers that they're now known to be. Lesh use to be a pro skier who just wanted outerwear that current companies at the name weren't making. Now, he's a baller.

Also, with regards to Ahmet riding for Volkl. That post was about how Volkl use Nick to market towards a more general market of brand recognition.

They didn't change their style at all. Wearing different fitting clothes is not what defines style.

Why does everyone hate on geopper? He has his own style, he is a comp skier not a gangster (not saying comp skiers cant be gangsters). He is defiantly one of the best skiers out there.

Tanner is still producing some of the best ski content around, just not competing or anything. Everyone has seen his gopro edits and they are ill.

This is arguably the dumbest thing I've ever read. You do realize Goeppers career is not coming to an end, and aside from that Tanner is pushing the sport in new directions and is killing it. His ski career is starting, not ending.

Wallisch went from OG afterbanging to just being super clean. Henrik, exact same thing and also got into regae for his edits. Dane more or less only changed his clothing, but he never really hits Park jumps anymore. Clothing is by far one of the biggest factor in your style. It's how you look on the hill and how people judge you without even seeing you ski.

And no I don't love Goepper. It's called thinking for yourself and not letting twelve year olds on NS dictate how you think. The fact is, people change and Goepper is changing. You'll realise in your twenties that you find who you truly are.

You've failed to give in any valid arguments as to why Nick's change of style is wack bar your personal opinion. I've proved that people have changed their style and no one has cared, but Goepper does it and the band wagon of hate follows.

I feel bad for being the first whistleblower in this thread, but I believe the answer to OPs question has been hidden from NS for too long. Just like horsedick.mpeg it's because Goepper has metaphorically and literally no balls. He had someone throw a rock at his balls real hard when he was younger and they had to cut them off ( incl. his dick ). His groin looks just like horsedick.mpeg's.
