Why do you hate snowboarding pic/videos/storys

I don't mind like when sit on the sides of the trails but if their like sitting in between a line of rails I start raging
 
Skiers are jealous that they have to stand the whole time.

I'd rather sit if I'm waiting for a while to drop or talking with people.

Hater gonna hate, but snowboarding is the shit

when i played this video, my computer for some reason also starting playing hard days night from pandora, and i thought it was supposed to be part of the rap song, and i was like this is the shittiest mashup in the world.

I was skiing and this snowboarder snaked me then said "fuck you" He gives snowboarding a bad name. regardless i saw him in the lift line and told him to gargle my nuts.
 
i dont really hate snowboarders its just some of them shouldnt be out there and are just annoyying and some are cool
 
Its a love hate relationship for Magoon. His personality is so lame but his steeze is soooooo clean.

But on the real, snowboarding is tight. I just liked skiing better.
 
I've been snowboarding for 7 years, I hang out with mostly skiers and honestly, im sick of snowboarding. Its tiring because it's so much more limited and shitty looking compared to skiing, because it's very hard to look steezy. I recently picked up a pair of skis and boots and decided that I wanted to start skiing and park skiing.
 
NEED HELP FINDING A VIDEO

A whiles back someone posted a video of a snowboard who drank a beer and finished it by the end of his run. The kid was pretty sick. He jumped off a table top, hit the knuckle on purpose, then flipped off the knuckle. WHERE IS THIS VIDEO!!!!
 
I don't really think it sucked, I'd rather watch it over a romantic/comedy anyday. But it alot more about the scenery and filming than the boarding
 
I ride with snowboarders and there's no real reason to hate. I mean they're still strapping in while your half way down the mountain. Isn't that bad enough?
 
Sucked as in:

overuse of slow motion, literally every other shot, which made it look like something an amateur put together.

the national geographic lessons on patagonia, alaska, british columbia, avalanches, volcanoes, etc etc.

travis rice commentary...nuff said

as a friend of mine pointed out, their intentional avalanches

other than that, it was your run of the mill movie. great videography, great soundtrack, and whatnot. maybe i shouldn't have used the word sucked, but overrated.

 
I thought it was a documentary about helicopters in slow mo, that just happened to have some snowboarding in it.

IMO as far as I'm concerned it doesn't matter if you have one plank or two, its just about your attitude/personality. I'd rather ski with chill boarders then douchey skiers, and vise versa.

i dont know anything about snowboarding equipment but why does his board look as big as a skateboard? is that normal?
 
Did you not watch it in HD? That's the only way I could possibly see someone thinking that movie was over-hyped.... maybe.

Deserved all the hype IMO.
 
No, it definitely didn't. TITA was worlds better than Art of Flight was.

To answer OP I love everything about snowboarding. I grew up snowboarding, I ride with all snowboarders, I watch snowboard flicks.

If anything I hate the overly thug, skittled out, no-style-of-your-own ski scene.
 
I tend to enjoy your posts. And if you hate on snowboarding its because you are 12 or because you are 12. Just go have fun.
 
snowboarding is rad i dont hate it at all. certain kids i definetly do and all the gapers who are on shaun white and burtons dick i would rather not see on the hill but other than that its cool
 
I know he snowboards...and i know there are hundreds of boarders on this site...check yours
